Complaint[redacted]I had been going to them for hair services since January of 2014, stylist I seen was [redacted]. I got my hair done on Thursday, March 24, 2016. I went in for highlights that were to be blonde and left with some and many that are orange. I contacted the salon to correct this and was booked in today Saturday March 25 @ 11 am, 2016. Upon arriving I was taken to the stylist area and told that there was no fix and if there was it would be a charge to do so. Since my time with this salon each visit in which I spent no less than $170 per visit. I asked several times about how the product would take and each time showed my desired picture and was told that she could do it. It didn't happen, after most of my visits last year, several in total, I had to return for correction. I was told this stylist had over 10 years experience and continued to see her. Each time there was no discussion of her saying no, I am sorry we cannot do this to your hair as it will not take or turn out. If that was the case then I would not have done it and would have looked for an alternative highlight for blonde based on her experience. I had to return for the stylist to fix her mistakes a few times and each time I asked why so many corrections and was told if I wasn't happy to return and she would correct it no matter the time as she was the one who did it. She often toned my hair as they use cheap colors and often very little and do not allow enough processing time due to overbooked appointments. Then March 25, 2016 I was told that the orange colors in my hair are part of a progression from dark to blonde and that they cannot be fixed. The same transition happened in all of 2015 and we never achieved the desired look but I kept giving her more chances to correct it given the money I spent. When I was told to leave on March 26 without having my hair corrected, [redacted] asked her Manager to come over [redacted] and she reiterated it was a progression and to look at hers as it took 4 months to achieve that color. Then I interjected and stated that I had been "progressing" for all of 2015 and we still never achieved the color. Each visit had a follow up to correct what [redacted] didn't do or didn't say would happen. The discussion ended after my comment and I told to leave, without having my hair corrected. I asked to be refunded for this and was told no.As the professionals in hair care, they could've informed me prior to the visit that this would not take in my hair or maybe do the proper bleaching techniques to get it. [redacted]. [redacted]. On March 24, 2016 that visit cost me $170+ dollars and the end result was to insist we part ways on the customer level and not one time was I offered the correction or a refund. Now not only am I out the money for this service in which resulted in terrible hair, I have to pay another salon to correct it. [redacted] Desired SettlementI would like to be refunded the full amount from my March 24, 2016 visit due to their inability to perform the proper task in their line of service.Business Response [redacted] HAD HER HAIR DONE BY [redacted] ON MARCH 24 2016.SHE SAID SHE LOVED HER HAIR AND TIPPED HER $34.00 DOLLARS.IF SHE DIDN'T LIKE HER COLOR WHY WOULD SHE TIP HER $34.00WE USE THE TOP COLOR LINES IN OUR PROFESSION.THERE ARE NO CHEAP COLORS IN THE SALON INDUSTRY.IF SHE WAS UNHAPPY WITH OUR SERVICE WHY DID SHE KEEP COMMING BACK FOR A YEAR AND A HALF.SHE WAS TOLD MANY TIMES THAT IT WOULD TAKE MANY TIMES TO GET HER FROM LEVEL 2 TO LEVEL 10 HAIR COLOR.SHE WAS HAPPY WITH HER SERVICES UNTILL [redacted] TOLD HER SHE WAS PARTING WAYS BECAUSE SHE COULD NOT BE SATISFIED.[redacted].ARE POSITION IS THAT SOME PEOPLE CAN NOT BE SATISFIED, SO WE PART WAYS.Consumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)[redacted]. [redacted]. Each visit consisted of getting to my look. I on returned when my hair turned orange which is not what I paid for. If the look I was getting was unattainable then I should've been notified. Prior to the complaints about the orange my hair was only highlighted. [redacted]. As we progressed I keep telling [redacted] I didn't care for the tone and her response was she'd fix it. At no time did she express that was a concern. Most times she used cheap fixes aND then of course I would return unhappy. [redacted]. So I gave it 4 months aMD it didn't happen so [redacted] colored it back brown but lighter. Her idea. So if going back to blonde wasn't an option. [redacted]! She needed to cover up all the terrible blonde chunks she put in my bangs anf couldn't. [redacted]. [redacted]. I've gotten [redacted] to correct my tones about 2 tomes and a huge chunk of blonde highlights she missed [redacted]. I shouldn't have to return for corrections. [redacted]. I want to be refuneed as it cost me $165.00 to correct [redacted]. [redacted]
