Midway Auto Repair Reviews (2)

To whom it may concern, My name is *** *** I work as a sublet for Midway Auto Repair and have a range of expertise with cars as well as providing outstanding customer serviceOn Saturday Feb *** *** brought in her Nissan Rogue for repairsAfter diagnosing her vehicle I
explained to her that I was able to replace her Transmission within a week but could not make any promises because sometimes there are complications with Transmission R&Rs but I will still do my best*** then stressed to Me how important it was for Her to have Her vehicle back by the following weekend and agreed to pay Her $diagnosis, I then explained to Her that; in order for Me to be able to complete the job in such a short time frame I would have to start removing the transmission right away so that way by the time I ordered the Transmission on Monday it would arrive possibly by WednesdayI quoted Her $for the Transmission removal and replacementShe agreed to the price and the termsThen She requested and paid $for a ride to the Fresno airport so She could rent a carI then proceeded with completing Her work order after She paid the $By the time *** returned with Her rented car I gave Her the work order to read and signShe agreed and signed and I asked Her if She could pay for the job so that way I knew She was serious and I could drop all my other assignments to start working on Her vehicle Sunday Morning, She then signed and paid $that same day and leftOn Wednesday Morning February her Transmission arrived and I spoke with her before paying the LKQ company driver for her replacement TransmissionShe insisted that she did not want me to proceed with the installation, I then explained to her that in order for her to take her vehicle now she would have to tow it incomplete and pay the Labor for the already removed Transmission*** then became furious and demanded that I put her Transmission back in and that she would pay me some of the money for the labor of the removalI then told her that I would also need to be paid for labor to put her bad Transmission back into the vehicle she then agreed and demanded that I start putting it backI then started to install the Transmission like she requested, *** then called me again while I was on the ground this time she was calm and I explained to her that even though the Transmission I ordered was not from Nissan that it still was a quality LKQ Transmission with 17K miles and it also came with a month warrantyI then gave her the option to get the two year no fault warranty for an additional $300.00, I then explained to her that by now if she towed her vehicle away it would not be ready for the weekend*** then told me to go ahead and install the Transmission I ordered for her and that she also wanted the two year no fault warrantyI then again proceeded with her decision and paid for and started to install the Good TransmissionOn Thursday February I called *** and told her that I would possibly be done installing the Good Transmission by Friday arround 1pm or so but that it would still not be ready until the vehicle was taken on a series of test drives and so that I could check for leaks to make sure everything was ready before we could say it was safe for her to drive it away*** then told me she would be at the shop on Saturday or possibly Sunday or even MondayOn Friday February I was finishing up the Transmission installation when all of a sudden a police vehicle showed up and parked in the parking lot, the officer stayed in the vehicle observing my work and then left, a few moments later a tow truck showed up and *** showed upWhen *** came to Me she was not happy, I kept being nice to her even though she was being mean to me while at the same time working on her carShe then called off the tow truck and leftThat same Friday arround 5pm I called *** and told her, the vehicle was ready She then told me she was tired from driving and she was going to stay at a motel and get some rest until the morningOn Saturday Morning February 2017, I and one of my Co Workers *** *** arrived minutes after 9am at the shop due to severe weather on the Freeway From Fresno to Kettleman CityBy that time *** was already outside the shop once more with a tow truckI then said hello and started to open the shop doors, *** was extremely angry this time she was so mad, I have never seen a customer act the way she acted that dayShe then yelled at Me and pointed to her front passenger door accusing Me that I had put a giant scratch on her doorI then explained to her that I was going to have to call the Sheriff and make an incident report for the damages to her vehicle, I also told her that I had a camera pointing right at her vehicle and that I would investigate the surveillance footageThen She started panicking and demanded that I gave her the keys, I was very calm and told her that she would have to wait until I finished with the reportShe then Yelled at Me again and put her hands on my neck demanding that I give her the keys at this moment I could no longer keep my calm and told her "Don't you ever put your hands on Me." Thankfully my co worker *** had seen when she grabbed me by my throat and told her to stop and we both told her to stay outsideWhen the Sheriff came I felt relieved because She was still very unhappy, she then admitted that she did the damage to her own door, and said that I was going to load up her bad Transmission into the back of her SUV, I explained to her that LKQ needed the bad Transmission Core and she would have to pay the $core chargeEven with the Sheriff present she refused to listenThe Sheriff then explained to her that in order for her to get her requests done she would have to agree to the rulesShe agreed and payed the $100.00, She signed the work order and we loaded up her core

I am rejecting this response because: [redacted], the victimizer, is trying to portray himself as a victim. His statement is so distorted that the truth is absent. Because of his tactics  practices, it became police involvement became required to recover my vehicle from his possession. I received a call from [redacted] on 2-16-17 that my car would be ready for pickup at noon on 2-17-17. When I arrived, it was not. Nor was it in a condition to allow for towing. One of the many lies spoken by [redacted].  This will be a matter that is requiring resolution through the State of California Bureau of Automotive Repair and the court system for resolution.
