April 3, 2017To whom it may concern,Thank you for the opportunity to defend our Company against an unhappy customerThis letter is in response to complaints by *** *** *** regarding his *** *** ***It is unfortunate that *** *** isn't happy and feels like we didn't
properly repair his vehicleThe technician actually spent extra nonbillable time/hours testing components to make sure that the vehicle was repaired correctly before the vehicle was ready for pick upWe pride ourselves on repairing Vehicles properly the first visit so that way we don't have to spend the time during another second visitWe might not be the fastest repair facility but there is obviously a very good reason for this, we just don't like comebacksAll the work that was completed on *** ***'s vehicle was all previously approved before any of the repairs were startedThe service adviser kept *** *** informed on all work that was being performed and made sure he was aware of all costs during the repair*** *** was never quoted an exact figure of $dollars for his repairs, each problem/repair was individually estimated out and none of them add up to the amount stated.Our repair facility would never break parts during repairs due to negligence but this vehicle is years old and has over 200,miles so some parts did break during other repairsThese were either rusted away or were old/brittle plastic due to the age of this vehicleThe damaged parts were replaced at no extra labor charge because we wanted to take care of our first time customer and because one of our employees knew of him from a long time ago.We also didn't hold the vehicle hostageOnce the vehicle was completed it took the customer two weeks to come pick it up from our facilityThe *** law states a repair shop can charge storage fee's if the vehicle isn't picked up after three business daysWe did not charge him any of these storage fee's once he arrived just because we didn't want the vehicle at our facility anymoreAlso, because of his previous relationship with one of our employee'sWe offer a two year, 24,mile warranty (whichever comes first) on all repair work that has been completed in case *** *** needs to bring his vehicle back to our facilityFurthermore, we are not interested in giving *** *** any refunds for any of the work that was approved and completed.Sincerely,AJ C.
