Thank you for letting us know. I have looked up the customer information in our records and we do not have any record of the customer. There is another company National Concealed Academy that has attempted to ID themselves as our company and we are getting a lot of their customers with many complaints thinking it is our company.

If the customer received a voucher from Groupon that is not working we always provide a different working code so they can get into the course asap.

I can definitely help the customer if they send me a copy of their promotional voucher to our support email on our website. Please let me know what I can do to resolve this and make it better for the customer.

I believe this company is scamming people. I purchased the Groupon, the site won’t accept the code. National Carey academy is not replying to emails and the phone line is always busy

They're selling on Groupon. Code given by Groupon does not work on their website. Groupon will not refund and advises to contact seller directly. Their phone is always busy and they have neglected to respond to any of my email requests. I believe they are scammers.

On 9/28 I purchased a conceal carry permit class with National Carry Academy. I paid $79.99 for the class. I was told I was supposed to get an email that day with a password code to log into my account. Email never received. I submitted a ticket later that day (9/28) stating I never received and email and I paid my due. I got an email back on 9/30 from a [email protected] with a [email protected] CC'd stating they received my email and IT will work on it. 10/3/19 comes around, still haven't heard anything, the phone number on their website does not work , I have emailed both the emails and still no response. I have asked for a refund but nothing has been returned.

Texas DPS emailed me stating Texas does not recognize non resident certificates. I contacted National Carry Academy and asked for a refund, but my email was ignored. I attached the Texas DPS email which stated this information.

I paid $69.99. Took and passed test with a 100. Never received certificate. Impossible to get resolution because no one replies to emailS. No one answers number listed.

They advertise their online concealed carry program as a quick and easy program. I can say that half of the time, this is true. I purchased a two-pack of certifications for NCA's online concealed carry program. When I tried to use the code they supplied to log in to start the program, it didn't work. An email to them got the right offer code to me.
One of the certifications was able to be completed, and the certificate downloaded, and everything was ok with that one. The second program was completed, but their completion certificate would not download. I sent in an email mentioning the issue, and they apologized, and said they needed my address to complete the certificate. I sent the address in - multiple times - but as of yet (nearly two weeks later) I have still not received the completion certificate. Multiple emails have been inconsistently responded to. Their automated "We have recieved your email" messages go out, but an actual response might take two, three, or five days.
This is a very frustrating company with which to do business, and I cannot recommend them to others.

I received a promotional email from National Carry Academy with discount codes for their Permit To Carry courses. My wife and I were due to renew our permits so we signed up. This was NOT a Groupon or other such offer. It came directly from them. We signed up on their website for the "Hybrid" course which consisted of watching a video online and an in person shooting qualification. It clearly stated that everything was included in the purchase price. When it came time for the in person shooting qualification, we were given notice that an extra "range" fee would be collected by the instructor at the range. I questioned this immediately and this is where it all went south. I tried explaining over and over to no avail that there was no mention anywhere of a "range fee" and that it clearly states on their own website that everything is included. I finally told them that if they did not intend to honor the price they gave, then we wanted a refund. Our scheduled range time was delayed two weeks due to weather and I heard nothing from them. Then three days before our range appointment, I got another email reminder stating that a range fee would be collected. Again I responded saying that we would not be paying any additional fees and that if they insisted on charging us, then we wanted to cancel our enrollment and wanted a refund. I waited 24 hours for a response before telling them to cancel our enrollment and issue a refund immediately. I gave them 48 hours notice. Double the 24 hour notice they required. It has been three weeks and we still haven't gotten a refund. They continue to give us the run around. They have never answered their phone nor returned a phone call despite repeated requests to do so. I will be forced to contact my credit card company to initiate a charge back.

Unfortunately, our team misinformed you regarding the need to pay the $15 charge, this was not a required charge as you had purchased our program through a special promotion, which the team was not aware of, as the promotion provided this fee to be waived. Due to the circumstances, we would like to provide you a refund of charges paid. However, we do need to issue you a check refund. If you could please provide your full name and mailing address we will proceed in issuing you the refund once we have received this information. Please allow me to apologize for the miscommunication.
