Hello we did warranty some work on the car due to paint bleeding thru one time the price of was for a lot more then just body work we cut out and welded in new rockers and the customer wanted the car done asap and paid extra to get it done sooner week time frame instead of a month turn around time and he was ok with that we completely disassembled the car to paint and we have over pictures we took during the whole process when the customer called a second time about paint we picked up the car to bring to the shop to have our paint rep look at it but as soon as we got it here we can see the paint was abused not a defect it was scratched chipped all from out side sources when he picked up the car it did not have one scratch it was perfect the car has a custom paint on it the paint is thick there are layers of primer coats of sealer coats of base and coats of clear this type of paint job is not like a new car paint which only has layers on itso if the customer dint drop the hammer on it and drag the speaker box across the rear and have the screw driver slip and gouge out the paint it would still be perfect we did notice some bleed thru in the drivers door jam that we would repair for no cost to him but all the scratches that were done buy the customer are not under warranted, we did have a apt for our paint rep to look at the car but once we saw that its not a defect in the paint its actual scratches and chips I called him and he said just snap a couple pics for him to see cause it wasn't worth him to come here and look at it due to the fact that it was customer error and not a paint issue and when he seen the pics he agreed and the customer called my paint rep and told him that he dropped the hammer on it and scarred it with a screw driver accidentally but the paint shouldn't of chipped like it didbut he doesn't realize there is a lot of paint on the car and it chips easier then a new car

Attached are pictures of pieces of the carI submitted the invoice with the start of the complaintIf you need that submitted again please let me knowIt would only allow me to submit attachments at this point.Thank you,Mike Panzer

Hello we did warranty some work on the car due to paint...

bleeding thru one time the price of 5300 was for a lot more then just body work we cut out and welded in new rockers and the customer wanted the car done asap and paid extra to get it done sooner 6 week time frame instead of a normal 3 month turn around time and he was ok with that we completely disassembled the car to paint and we have over 30 pictures we took during the whole process when the customer called a second time about paint we picked up the car to bring to the shop to have our paint rep look at it but as soon as we got it here we can see the paint was abused not a defect it was scratched chipped all from out side sources when he picked up the car it did not have one scratch it was perfect the car has a custom paint on it the paint is thick there are 2 layers of primer 2 coats of sealer 6 coats of base and 4 coats of clear this type of paint job is not like a new car paint which only has 4 layers on it. so if the customer dint drop the hammer on it and drag the speaker box across the rear and have the screw driver slip and gouge out the paint it would still be perfect we did notice some bleed thru in the drivers door jam that we would repair for no cost to him but all the scratches that were done buy the customer are not under warranted, we did have a apt for our paint rep to look at the car but once we saw that its not a defect in the paint its actual scratches and chips I called him and he said just snap a couple pics for him to see cause it wasn't worth him to come here and look at it due to the fact that it was customer error and not a paint issue and when he seen the pics he agreed and the customer called my paint rep and told him that he dropped the hammer on it and scarred it with a screw driver accidentally but the paint shouldn't of chipped like it did. but he doesn't realize there is a lot of paint on the car and it chips easier then a new car.

Attached are 4 pictures of pieces of the car. I submitted the invoice with the start of the complaint. If you need that submitted again please let me know. It would only allow me to submit 4 attachments at this point.Thank you,Mike Panzer
