Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2014/11/03) */
*** was mad because she had to pick up her car keys from the attendant the evening she had her car detailedShe was satisfied with the job though, there were no problems till we saw thisWe have no idea about a broken window washer
hose???
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 18, 2014/11/14) */
I have since had the part Midwest Auto Detailing broke repaired because I knew they would never repair it for meEven though it was completely wrong on their part to not fix the piece they broke, I won't be pressing this further as I know they are not upstanding enough to take care of their customers
To respond to their response - I was rightfully upset at their treatment of my vehicle because I had to pick up my car keys for the gas station next door, NOT an "attendant." I left an extremely detailed voicemail with Midwest Detailing the moment I picked up my car, which let them know I was NOT satisfied with their business and that they DID break a piece of my carI'm not sure how they only knew about the broken piece to my car until I reported it

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2016/01/05) */
We do recall this situationTalked with ***, as he informed me that there was a problem with a
key podIt was broken when it came in, my manager was able to pull the vehicle in, that is when my
manager realized there was a problem with the
pod, it would not stay in positionWe assumed this
was an ongoing issue she was havingThis is a problem she brought in and decides to blame us
I talked to her and tried to explain that to herWe feel we are not responsible, we have had no other problems
with taking care of issues that may have arised but we feel this one is not ours
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/01/11) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
It is completely untrueI disagreed with response due to following reasons:
1) When I took my BMW to Midwest for an auto detailing service, I was selling my car on "Cars.com" websiteIt was described on my listing as well kept/ well maintainedwith an excellent conditionEverything was working fineThere was no reason for me to sell my car and pay for an advertisement if the potential buyers would have some difficulty with starting itIt was the first thing that they could noticeIt indicated a warning sign of car problem which would shut down the sales
2) My BMW was inspected by Motorwerks-BMW in Bloomington a day after I listed my car with "Cars.com"No report showed that my key slot was defectiveMy car was hardly driven and mostly garage kept after the inspection service due to my purchase of a new car
3) I took my car for detailing at Midwest in order to prepare it for selling, not to have them damaged itThere was no point for me to blame them in order to make money from a small business
