We had a quote from Mid West Efficiency Dec 9/2016 to install our downstairs bathroom.This involved breaking up cement, putting in sewer pipes,and re-cementing the floor, rough in plumbing for toilet, sink and shower, and hooking up our fixtures, which we purchased separately.
We paid in advance $4383.75. The fellow that gave us the quote, returned, and after inspecting our fixtures, said the shower assembly was more complex than he thought, involving wood support strips that had to be cut and put on wall. He said even if I helped it would cost $200 to $300 more. So I assembled and installed the wood framing. and assembled the rest of the shower. All they had left is attach the drain, and taps for the shower.

So we were really suprised when they invoiced us and told us we owed them $301.35 more. We informed them we were not going to pay more for "Extra to install owners shower and revamp construction"
