Went to midwest eye on Dec 8 th with my husband ***. to get both our eyes checked. My husband ended up getting byfocals and I ended up getting progressive lens. I told them I was not going to wear them except for looking at my computer. I believe they shoulg have been more helpful to our needs instead of getting us something more expensive that we did not need. We tried them for a week at there request. went back one week later I did not like mine and had them remade to just distance. My husband did not like his either and had them made to just readers also. I ask about a refund on mine because they where so expensive and It was not what I needed. They said they would check with there manager and let me know. I called several times and got the run around.I called early last week I said I was going to report them to the Revdex.com and someone called the next day they were sending me a paper check, that was a week ago also. Just so fed up with there customer service. This has gone on way to long.

Customer purchased eyewear utilizing her vision insurance, and had difficulty adapting to what she ordered. We reordered the glasses differently for the patient to aid with the adaptation problems that she was having. Under the guidelines of her insurance there is no refund issued if a customer changes the order after the fact to something different. Despite the guidelines of the insurance we issued the customers request we sent her

I went for an eye check up and possibly purchase contacts. Durning the exam procedures were performed that were not covered by my insurance and I was not informed of the extra cost until after the visit and was told I owed for the procedures. I was also told my plan did not cover the contact lenses, which I does cover 110 towards the cost of the lenses. I paid the 100 dollars in extra fees that I was not informed of before the procedures.

We have reached out to the patient as well as their insurance company to satisfy the patients request for a refund and having their vision insurance benefits reinstated. It was an unfortunate situation where we were unable to articulate to the *** the multi step process of satisfying his order. Please call with any questions or clarifications that you may need.

I am rejecting this response because:
I have not received a response from anyone besides my vison plan. The vision plan told me that Midwest would refund my 80 dollars. They charged me 100. I was charged 80 for fitting that is covered under my plan and 20 for something that if I was informed it was an out of pocket cost I would have refused. I will close this complaint when I receive a check for 100 dollars, it is deposited and the funds are confirmed in my account.
