Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:We stand with our position in the original complaint. We did not fire the company but they were told on 1/1/we would never have knowingly entered into a contract without the endorsement of our insurance company
It was at this time that we were misled and presented what the company stated was a "permission to enter our premises" and they started to bring in equipment. However, the document was a "contract for service" which we signed under duress and deceit. Our ceiling was leaking and one of our neighbors' ceilings had collapsed. We were expecting the same to happen to us. No copy of the contract which they presented to us for signing on 1/1/was ever given to us. After we received the billing, Michael was very rude and told us that he did not have time to talk to us any more since he had another call. He said we could call him back and he hung up on us which we felt was totally unprofessional
Sincerely,
*** ***

My name is [redacted] and I am the general manager at Midwest Flood Restoration. I have reviewed this file and my conclusions are as follows. This project was started on 8/17/16 and the contract was between Midwest Flood Restoration and [redacted] the owner of the property. We performed mitigation...

services for Mr. [redacted] which was negotiated with his insurance company and also signed off by Mr. [redacted]. As far as the complaint with Mr. [redacted] the following is what transpired. Our firm had to remove Mr. [redacted] property the week that we started the job due to the extensive water damage at Mr. [redacted] property. At that time my project manager [redacted] showed Mr. [redacted] there was some damage to his property prior to us moving it. We then moved is possessions to our facility and stored them. Approximately 3 months later we moved his possessions back and as soon as we pulled up before anything was moved out of the truck he looked at my manager and told him all his stuff was damaged. We then moved his possessions back into his apartment where he became combative and wanted to fist fight my manager. I spoke with him on the phone were the abuse continued. I told him I would look into the matter and call him back. I reviewed this matter with my manager and came to the conclusion that his possessions were damaged before we moved them. The other problem that we have with his accusations is that he is stating that everything we moved was damaged.  I have tried several times to call Mr. [redacted] to resolve this matter, but to date I have gotten no response. In conclusion, I would like to add that Mr. [redacted] has been compensated from his renter’s insurance for many items that were ruined due to the water damage and you cannot be compensated for things twice. We also were never compensated for moving and storing Mr. [redacted]s property which in excess of 2,300.00. Thank you for your consideration in this matter and I will be awaiting a response. Thanks
