Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAfter calling and leaving messages company would not call back had to call from another number and act like a new customer to finally get to talk to some and at that time I was told that the insurance company would not cover the damages because Midwest movers put it in as a no paymentI was trying to pay for three weeks so that I could get my things fixed and would never get a responseI'm more than happy to pay for the services once my things are taken care ofThe insurance company has nothing to do with the business getting paid Also never told anyone my fridge that was only one year old was damaged and not to worry about beating it up Regards, [redacted]

We did make a mistake with this clientWe scheduled her on the same day we were fullWe had to move her to a later timeDue to a broken wrist we were not able to make it to this clientThis was not avoidable but is still unacceptableWe have contacted the client and made offers to move her daughter for free and reimburse any of her costWe tried to contact but no replyOur offer still standsWe were not aware of the clients situation and would of told her she can pay for her daughters move by phone if possible that she could of done soNot showing up on a move day is a horrible thing that adds a lot of stress to a personThat was our first and last timeWe have put measures in to have all consumer info available to our staff and procedures to ensure this wont happen againWe still believe we provide great service with great ratesOur client was very angry with this and has sent hurtful emails but has not accepted or declined our offer to make it rightIf you would like any more information we would be glad Thank You Matt Midwest Moving Company ###-###-#### We will not be able to provide the clients email sent to us due to a privacy mentionThat would have to come from herWe have many things such as proof she was booked on top a current move and our medical records if needed

I want them to provide discounted moving services if my daughter needs to move again in the [redacted] area since we spent hours driving back and forth to [redacted] and didn't get her moved at the specified time on May 2,

Strongly discourage anyone to do business with this companyNot only do they hold your possessions hostage for more money, but they will ignore your phone callsThey broke and damaged many of our items when we finally did get our things backThey pushed me to sign the contract and delivery paperworkThey don't tell me that our load will be weighed until after it is on the truck and then, Surprise! the load weighs more than they estimatedWe had to pay 30% more than was originally agreed upon to get our stuff backAnd the *** *** group I called said that I would be better off to pay their ransom than to try to fight it as they will add all kinds of additional charges if we were to refuse to pay whatever they saidI am NOT convinced that our load was ever weighed or anythingIt is no wonder that they have different names they do business underThe one thing they do well is to write sneaky contracts that allow them to get away with this piracy

moveWe expanded at the time and the crew sent to your home could of
had more experience with larger furniture like some of the pieces you
hadWe have took measures since your
move to prevent this from happening like making sure no two employees
with under moves completed go out without someone more experienced
with themWhen I came out to do a damage reportI seen realized this
mistake right away as the furniture and home was not prepared/protected
properlyI was ready to happily compensate you no questions asked even
though you told our movers to not worry about padding and just throw
the furniture in the truck because you had extra insurance, and the crew
strongly stating that the had made mistakes but that your fridge had
previous damage.(again our fault they should have followed previous
damage procedure if that was even the case) We are far from a scam and
could not legally move you if we did not have insuranceI would happily
turn your claim in but as mentioned numerous times you will have to pay
your billIt is clearly stated in the contract you signed which I will
re email you a copy of that you must pay your bill for us to honor any
insurance claimI believe this is fair as for we are also contracted to
be responsible for your belongings(if bill is paid), and we do not want
to pay out for an insurance deductible with nothing but belief and with
no indication that you will pay your billWe can make a insurance
claim for you and will be happily to move forward with this situation if
that is what you desireAgain sorry for the mistakes made on my

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaintWell still waiting to hear from *** at midwest to work this out because the last time we talk which was in October when I was trying to pay *** at Midwest told me there was nothing he could do with my claims because his insurance could not re open the claims even if I paid the billAlso on the form that was sent in the last message it says no claims would be covered that are over daysIt very hard to trust someone when the stories are always different and can not follow through whith what is saidStill waiting on phone call from a month ago.

Spoke with *** *** by phone todayHe said that *** *** contacted him on *** yesterday and they have worked out an agreement between themselves where *** *** will send in a payment and once the balance is paid, *** *** will take necessary steps to have the insurance company address *** *** loss claims

I have attached a damage claim formThe insurance company will not follow thru with a payment until payment is madeAny moving company has the same policyMaybe with a conformation on the insurance claim our customer will feel more confident

were full. We had to move her to a later time. Due to a broken wrist we were not able to make it to this client. This was not avoidable but is still unacceptable. We have contacted the client and made offers to move her daughter for free and reimburse any of her cost. We tried  to contact but no reply. Our offer still stands. We were not aware of the clients situation and would of told her she can pay for her daughters move by phone if possible that she could of done so. Not showing up on a move day is a horrible thing that adds a lot of stress to a person. That was our first and last time. After calling and leaving 3 messages company would not call back had to call from another number and act like a new customer to finally get to talk to some and at that time I was told that the insurance company would not cover the damages because Midwest movers put it in as a no payment. I was trying to pay for three weeks so that I could get my things fixed and would never get a response. I'm more than happy to pay for the services once my things are taken care of. The insurance company has nothing to do with the business getting paid. 
Also never told anyone my fridge that was only one year old was damaged and not to worry about beating it up.
