I have discussed this with my wife who initiated the first contact with Midwest Physicians. My wife says [redacted] told her $50.00 would be okay. We paid that each month for three months thinking that we were doing the correct thing. Never did we receive a collections letter from Midwest. What we did receive was a monthly statement and promptly paid the $50.00 per month. It wasn't until we received the letter dated 5/26/2015 did we realize that Midwest even had a problem with the $50.00 payment. I have since sent a check to Midwest for the $117.00 as requested. The whole point of my complaint was the attitude and total lack of empathy that [redacted] displayed during our conversation. Now she comes back with a sarcastic remark that we are not a lending institution. No kidding! Either is [redacted] and the other four medical companies that agreed to work with us on our payments. I am just thankful that the doctors and nurses that treated my wife during her horrific and life threatening surgery were a little more caring as to the needs of the patients. I do not need threats of collection when since the first month in March we have made a payment. I would like to talk to someone besides [redacted] regarding this miscommunication on Midwest's part.
