Buyer beware
Midwest pool builders and stone crafters crafters is not a company you would ever want to use. They put a pool in my yard in 2021 the concrete around the pool looks like it was done by children They put a pool in my yard in 2021 the concrete around the pool looks like it was done by children Their work is very sub par and unprofessional. They did not finish my pool even though they were paid in full. Tperiod the concrete coping on my pool is falling into the water. They left the pool a mess they left my yard a mess. I have had 4 other Families contact me after they saw my bad reviews. Take your money and run! Very dysfuntional company.

Hello,
This complaint is regarding shoddy installation and work performed by *** and owned/work ***.
I am seeking restitution for $38,780 or work performed to be completed correctly! This dollar amount comes from pricing out the corrective actions needing to fix the situation including custom concrete, leveling pool, fixing broken pipelines, and labor to make the install complete and correct.
I am a patient person, never complained once while it took over 8 months to complete what was promised to be a 2-3-month job but I am now frustrated beyond belief. The install of the pool is even as the water is unlevel to the side by 1inch+. I also have severe leakage on part of the install located by tanning bed. The final grievance is that I had *** the owner himself, winterize the pool which was not done properly and now have broken underground pipes. *** himself said he would make it right and do the corrective work which required busting up and replacing concrete to make things level, non-leaking, and pipes operational, but that was in April 2018 and this is June 2019. *** will not return my phone calls and has been avoiding me.
As previously stated, I am seeking what was promised and paid for or the monies returned to me so I can have the work done properly by a reputable company. I have been swindled not only out of the memories with my family due to the dysfunctional pool install, but also monetarily out of tens of thousands of dollars of money already paid to Midwest***.
Sincerely

This complaint is all lies, I have every email and text conversation and nothing was ever mentioned about any of this, the only thing I said I would do is fix a deck jet pipe that water got in over the winter time, this was not our fault but out of the kindness of my heart I was going to fix it for him but we got so far behind from rain that there was no way I could put any more work on my plate, they have used there pool continually, they have never missed any family time or memories, that's all hog wash, they have been swimming in there pool this whole time, they were satisfied with everything and they even gave us good referrals but since I couldn't get there to fix a broke pipe that we did not do, he decided to write this false review. As far as the Revdex.com , they are nothing but an advertising agency, I have a recording of a phone conversation between me and a Revdex.com rep, he admitted that they dont check if these people are lying or not and they print these reports not knowing if they are true or not. I also have a phone recording with another Revdex.com rep noting that they had my email address wrong so I was never notified of this complaint and that she corrected it just 2 days ago, so what this boils down to is, this guy was allowed to file a false complaint with all lies, they didn't properly notify me, I am not a member of the Revdex.com , I was not allowed to give a response until now, 6 months later, we lost $500,000 Because of this false complaint so now there are law suits being filed for hundreds of thousands of dollar against the Revdex.com bad this guy filing this false complaint. I would never be a member of the Revdex.com because you can't believe anything they post, people are being deceived and think they are getting accurate information but they are not, they hurt businesses. I have taken a screen shot of this response and also the original complaint and they will be put on youtube.

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

To whom it may concern,

I reject this response as my initial complaint with the Revdex.com and the Missouri Attorney General’s Office is accurate and true. As stated in the previous review, the pool was winterized by Terry’s wife Debra and a couple of their employees. Obviously when we opened the pool the following spring to a cracked pipe and leak it was clear that it was caused by an improper winterization. As far as the pool not being level, you can easily see that by looking at it. This was also confirmed by another pool company. The tanning ledge has a leak in one of the four pipes that runs to it and I had to put a coating on the concrete to plug the leak. When you pay many of thousands of dollars to a company to install your pool, you hope for quality work. Instead we have had many issues already and we are only a couple of seasons in. I filed the Revdex.com complaint in June of 2019 after being extremely patient. I did not see any other options as Terry would not return any of my calls. The first time that I have heard from him since the review was on January 4th, 2020. In the text message that he sent me, he threatened to sue me for 500k and take my house. I messaged back saying that he could call me and we could talk this through, but he never reached out.

Being a business owner myself, I could not imagine charging customers thousands and thousands of dollars to then abandon them and then threaten them while calling them liars at the same time. It shows that's the way he does business and its dishonest. There was a review on different sites that states a similar story as mine about bad work being done or losing touch with people that paid for a service to be done. The gentlemen even gives out his personal cell number for people to call before using this company.

The only thing that I see here that is “hogwash” is the fact that he says that I have cost him over $500k is future deals. In the past I have let Terry’s potential customers come to my house to look at my pool and call me with questions. I would think that would be helping someone get business not the other way around.

As stated from my text message back to him on January 4th 2020, if *** wants to talk and fix the problems with my pool I will call the Revdex.com to see if they can take the complaint off.

Thank you.

This pool has been out of warranty for several years, this is the first we have heard about any of this except the broke water pipe, so I can't even address these other issues because I have never been told anything and it is out of warranty, as far as the water line, you can't really close a pool wrong, you screw down a plug with an o ring and it seals the water out, we can't baby sit a pool all winter long, if someone walks on the concrete pool deck and kicks the plug, it could knock it loose but it was closed right just like we have been doing for 15 years and none ever leaked, I was acting in good faith and being a nice guy to offer to fix the line for him but he seems to have taken it as if I'm obligated to fix it putting jobs in progress on hold after being put behind by rain, it couldn't happen at that point, it didnt cost them any pool time , it was just a deck jet line, I would still fix his line but it has to be on my time table.
