Midwest Real Estate Reviews (3)

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
If you look at the received pictures from the prior response to my complaint, you can clearly see that there may be enough "space" for four cars to be parked, however, THIS IS NOT PRACTICAL for four roommates who have jobs and internshipsWith this driveway, we are inconvenitely blocked in when there are any more than carsMy roommates told me they responded to Midwest the way they did because they didn't want to lie, but admitted it was not practicalEspecially when I returned home without my pass and one had to be up at 7:45am to move her car just so I could get to class(Is this practical? Would you want to have to do that every single day or night?).
What is convenient, is that some people do their jobs wellWhen I received my response back from Midwest Real Estate-***, specifically, I decided to take everything (Revdex.com messages/tickets and what has been happening with my landlord for the past monts)up with the Street Department to see if they would help, though it wasn't her job too***, the same woman who gave me the tickets-also the same woman Midwest would need to get the pass from, treated me with respect and decency ever since I approached her with the problemWe discussed the problem and the lack of respect/productiveness that Midwest had proved to meShe explained to me that situations where landlords refused to get passes were few and far between-very rare and considered it a special circumstance"Then again, why would you refuse something for free? Whether you, as a landlord, think it's useful to the tenant or not, if the tenant asks for it with respect and its plausible to help fix their situation, LEGALLY, why would you deny that to them?
Thankfully, to ***, who has been outstanding at her job, the tickets have ALL been voided and I've received my parking passMidwest couldn't face the simple problem that was at hand so I had to do it myselfSomething that could have taken a half hour out of her day wasn't important enough--instead, I had to do this for two months straightWhen the city is willing to help you over your own landlords, I think that says a lot about how they treat some of their tenants.
*As a reminder, when I sent my first complaint, I want to make it known that I was told over and over by Midwest that I would get a parking pass, "that she would call and take care of it", etcWhen I received their response back, they completely refuted what I was originally told.
Regards,
*** ***

The complaint that you received has several incorrect
accusationsFirst and most importantly would be the fact that we provide off street parking for four tenants (see picture)This is the very first complaint that we have had in over yearsThis home has always housed tenants and vehicles and there has never been any complaint about parkingThe complainant was told not to park there and there would be no tickets givenThe other tenants in the home do not seem to have an issue with this and they have lived there since August This is just now being brought up after several months of living there and only by one of the tenants
In the front of the home, where the complainant is continuously parking, there is a large sign that clearly states that there is to be no parking for longer than hrs (see picture)This is why we provide off street parking in the rear of the homeWe have included photos of both the sign and the parking area for this homeThe parking arrangement was known from the time of move inAs stated previously, all other tenants are having no issues with this parking arrangement
We are sorry that this complainant is unhappy that we have not provided a parking pass but the reason is because we provide off street parkingWe have spoken to the other tenants and they have agreed that there is more than enough room for all four vehicles to be parked thereWe will not be paying for or taking off rent the amount of any tickets that were received because of the complainant's negligence of the parking signs nor will we be providing a parking pass because we provide off street parking for this home
Kind Regards,

Property Manager for Midwest Real Estate LLC

I feel that [redacted] is a fake. He definitely cares more about getting paid than the quality of work. He complains of waiting for payment for work already completed from Deepflex on the Pensacola Port site, yet he consistently tries to get a reduced bill from his own vendors. As a service provider operating a concrete pump, [redacted] consistently tried to get a reduced bill yet wouldn't tell his workers to help me on clean-up which would have helped me maintain my schedule and also reduce his bill. [redacted] was a COD customer yet I would routinely have to follow him around or wait on a jobsite for an hour or more to receive payment.
He professes a christian persona, yet exudes arrogance. I no longer do business with him by choice. If I had no work scheduled, I would not take his business because there is ALWAYS some "issue" with [redacted].
