Midwest Stormtech

I had to get my roof replaced, and was in a pinch to get it done as fast as possible. I called Midwest Stormtech and they came right out gave me an estimate (which was the best offer out of 5). He had his crew out to my house with two week( because of the rain we where having). The crew had my roof tore off and anything that needed to be fixed, fixed and new roof on and cleaned up EVERYTHING in 3.5 hours. The roof looks great and the insurance company was extremely pleased at the work that was done.

There have been two occasions that I have call John at Midwest Stormtech. Both times was at the rental house. He was very prompt and had the issues repaired quickly. I will use Midwest Stormtech again, both rentals and personal properties.

Midwest Stormtech installed a new roof for us in November 2017 which leaks because they failed to put a boot around a stack on the roof. This has caused serious water damage inside our home. The owner, ***, does not return my phone calls and does not come by, except for sending a friend of his by to look at the damage. That person applied an ineffective "bandage" at the base of the stack, not a boot, which does not stop water from leaking into our home. *** does return calls to my insurance agent and promises to come by and take care of the problems but then he makes excuses (his trailer has broken down, etc.) and, of course, he does not show up here. We have tried to be patient with him but without results. We want a boot correctly installed around the stack on the roof; we want our electric line in the back of our house reattached to the house (his workers unattached it to put the roof on) and we want our water damaged interior walls and carpet replaced/ We paid *** over $11,000 for a new roof, which should not have leaked.

New gutters were installed improperly. There are gaps between the roof and the gutter, allowing rainwater to leak down the eaves and cause damage. Most of the corners leak profusely, causing rainwater to pour onto the ground below, causing damage. In several places where multiple slopes of the roof come together, the water gushes past (over) the gutter and onto the ground, causing damage. Our previous gutter system worked perfectly, but this replacement is a complete disaster.
We have contacted Midwest Stormtech several times and nothing has been done to correct this, allow damage to accrue. THE OWNER DOES NOT FOLLOW THROUGH ON ENSURING QUALITY OUTCOMES, NOR FOLLOW THROUGH IN CORRECTING PROBLEMS IDENTIFIED BY CLIENTS.
