We are sorry for your frustration. At Midwest Supplies, we do not rent COtanks. Our pound tanks are sold at $149.99. A tank exchanged is $which is where we take your empty tank and give you a replacement tank that is full of CO2. We do not provide a "buy out"
option but the tanks do hold their retail value and many are sold on 3rd party marketplace sites like craigslist.Although our return policy is days for unused merchandise, we are happy to accept the return for store credit. We believe that this is a fair offer since we are now months past the purchase date

I am rejecting this response because: Thank you for agreeing to refund my deposit. I just want to let you know that I did not get a free fill with the tank!I paid an additional for the co2. My receipt is for: $cotank, 20#cotank exchange $25.00 and $tax Total $187.72.So I would like my original dollar deposit. Then the issue will be resolved. We are not sure of the circumstances of your friends transaction.  If you would like to return your tank for a check, we would be happy to do that.  If you received a free fill of CO2 gas with your tank purchase (per your receipt) the retail price of $25 for the fill will be removed from the refund/If you would like to proceed with this return, you can bring the tank and receipt back to our retail location.  At that time, please provide our retail team with the address that a check should be sent to and the check will be mailed via USPS first class mail within 30 days.We believe that this is a fair offer, please consider this our final offer for resolution of this complaint.
