Midwest Trauma Recovery Center Reviews (%countItem)

I am writing today to warn the public and make aware to avoid this Center, specifically a single “practioner.” It is dubious on her part, she is any kind of a therapist. She lacks a high level of education, and listening skills a truly decent Practioner would possess, which is absent in this individual. On 12/18/19, she told me “ she was not aware she did not take my insurance, stating I owed $60.” This was the third time I visited her, I have a PPO, which means the insurance covers these costs. Three times and she still did not know this? I paid the co-pay, requested for her NOT to charge my credit card, which for some unknown reason, she kept this card on file? On 12/18/19, she immediately charged my card $75, not the $60, which was agreed, a check would be mailed. I was clear & concise. She disregarded my request. Upon returning to town, I called her two times on 12/30/19, realizing she could be busy, I waited for a response. I called & left a message, inquiring why she charged my card when she agreed a check would be mailed to her address. On 12/31/19, she called me, she was rude, boisterous, hostile, toxic and vehement. She did not allow me to get a single world in, yelling at me “ you are aggressive!” I requested for her to allow me to speak, to complete a sentence, she continued to scream. I told her I would not be returning, it is apparent she lacks listening skills, along w/valuable training. I am not aware of any professional person that behaves this way, attacking a client. Upon hanging up, she contacted me from her private cell, a number I do not have, however she was harassing and threatening. While writing this she has again called me from this cell number, again. She appears monetarily desperate. What she stated in an elevated voice, is a fabrication. Please do your due diligence when seeking any type of professional service. She is not professional, in need of an anger management class? Thank you.
