The facility itself and the procedure were up to standardBut the waiting time and the reason of the delay were horribleAppointment was at 2pm so we showed up early, at 12:40pmSigned in and sat, usually we should be called in an hour early to explain the procedure and apply the anesthesiaBut, alas!, we did not receive any attention until 2:15pm and, to make matters worse, we procedure did not take place until well past 4pmThis is hours after the time in which we had agreed upon months ago when the procedure was scheduled If you have to complete a procedure at this location, be ready to spend your whole day in there, mostly waiting and wasting time

My Mom had an appointment this morning at 9:for an endoscopy and a colonoscopy and we arrived at 8:like we were asked to, only to find that the appointment was canceled (through her doctors office, not her) because her insurance approval had not come throughThe appointment was made three weeks in advance because it takes the insurance two weeks to approve itThe doctor called and confirmed that the insurance went through earlier in the weekNo one from SEC called to cancel the appointmentAnd we were told that our Doctor doesn't get the insurance approval, that SEC doesAnd yet, they still didn't call to tell my Mom they didn't have approvalShe had to drink all that solution the day before and eat nothing and was in the bathroom all nightAnd all we were told from the staff at SEC over and over was "Sorry, but I only work on the weekends, I don't know what happened." No one could tell us why they didn't call usThey just kept saying sorry, it wasn't their faultA nurse finally gave us a name of the person in charge of the AdminsI went home and called to leave a voice mail and the same girl at the desk answered and didn't even know who she wasAfter sitting on hold, she came back and said she works during the weekI asked for voice mail and when she transferred me it just rang and rangShe came back on the line and said she didn't know why it didn't pick upI asked for an email address and she said she didn't know if she had oneI said Thank You, I would call back on MondayNot one person there offered to helpThey all just said they only work on weekends and they were sorryExtremely disappointed in the service

This business is listed on Ethical ArizonaThey are not ethicalI had a colonoscopy on 6/23/They represented that they are in network for United Health Care, who is my insurance carrierThe anesthesiologist and the nurse were out of network so I received an outrageous bill from each of those peopleSouthwest made no attempt to inform me that the people they use are out of networkHad I known this, I would not have used themI'm sure that's what they are scared ofVery unethicalNot against the law because our legislators are corrupt and passed a law allow this type of activity!
