First of all I wish to emphasize that Partners In Building (PIB) takes its warranty obligations to our customers very seriously. While it is true that Mr. [redacted] and I have corresponded  numerous times in the last two months, I do not feel his representation of PIB's handling of...

his window issue is fair and objective. First of all, the windows on his home (which is over six years old) are covered by a manufacturers warranty which is issued by the window manufacturer. As a matter of fact, PIB assigned over to Mr. [redacted] at closing (10/8/08) an assignment of all manufacturers' warranties. As Mr. [redacted] states, the manufacturer is in fact honoring their warranty by furnishing the  replacement glass for the windows and even going above and beyond that warranty by offering to pay a portion of the labor to replace the panes of glass. Mr. [redacted] does not seem to understand that PIB does not give a perpetual warranty especially for a home that is over six years old.  I also find it odd, that Mr. [redacted] fails to mention that when asked to do so, PIB gave him assistance in dealing with items that came up during an inspection of his home by a prospective buyer.In closing, we wish Mr. [redacted] good luck on the sale of his home, but we will not change our position on denying his request for reimbursement for his windows.
