Review: I called Midwood Raftery to repair a broken pipe in my home. They replaced the pipe but did not anchor it to the beam in my ceiling. I am concerned that not anchoring the pipe in place could result in future damage to the pipe, eventually causing another flood in my home. When I called the company back to complete the job, they told me that it would cost me $125.00 for them to come back out. This is on top of the $405.00 charge to replace the pipe and bleed the system. Later in the conversation, they told me that they would come back when they are in the neighborhood. This was over a week ago, and have not heard anything else from them.Desired Settlement: I expect that the company will come and complete the work promptly and without additional cost.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Midwood - Raftery Plumbing & Heating Corp. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

the company contacted me only this past Monday (3/**), several weeks after I contacted them regarding the issue. Since I needed to complete construction repairs to my home resulting from the burst pipe, I could not wait for Midwood Raftery to come and reinforce the pipe, I was forced to hire and pay another contractor to attend to this issue along with the other necessary repairs. So, yes, the issue has been resolved because I called another company to resolve it, but because Midwood Raftery made any attempt to do so. Midwood Raftery saw the state of my home from the burst pipe and resulting water damage; they were aware that I needed them to reinforce the pipe so that I could complete repairs to my home. Their non-responsiveness speaks to the level of their professionalism.
