I am rejecting this response because:
I went to other reputable dealer's who offered me 6,5000 plus on a similar trade. They never went over numbers with me and I trusted them as this being my first time financing a car. This guy saw dollar signs with me and completely took advantage of my lack of knowledge. I feel I should possibly get a lawyer because I cannot let this man get away with this again. Yes it was my responsibility to ask what he was giving me on my trade. It was also his responsibility to tell me what he was giving me on my trade. As far as my warranty, I again did not ask price and price was not disclosed to e by the fiancé manager. raised my loan $100. Seems this company feels it's alright not to disclose the amounts. This man can't even refund me what I ask to make this right. He is not an honest business man and I as well have talked to some very dissatisfied customers of his. My car was not in poor shape. This car was mechanically sound and again got offered from other dealer's way more. I also was going to sell it privately to a man for 6,000 but thought I would just trade it in. This sales man is a fraud and the owner is not any better. My son is a mechanic and he knows a lot about cars. He was so upset how this dealership ripped me off.

In response to [redacted]:As I read this letter I think the thing that bothers me the most is that she thinks I took advantage of her because she is a woman ??? That is abserd. I have been in business for over 18 years and on average sell 50 vehicles a month in a very...

small town, I would never take advantage of anyone, and would not be successfull in the car business in a small town if I did. After [redacted] drove a couple vehicles she decided on the [redacted], Dave, my sales Mgr of 18 yrs wrote a deal for her and she agreed. When completing the paperwork, she was offered an extended warranty which she elected to purchase as well. She was very happy when she left.
The next day her son called being VERY rude saying the car they bought was junk and a "piece of St",(his exact words), we asked if there was anything wrong with the vehicle and his reply was those vehicles are just ALL junk!!!The next day they came in and right away her son was very rude and unprofessional. They just basically said they should have got more for thier trade. I then went in and tried to ask if there was somthing wrong with the vehicle and they said it was about the trade and I said that she signed everything and made the decision to purchase, there was nothing hidden, all the paperwork shows the figures, and the price was listed on the windshield. She exploded, storming out yelling that she would ruin me in social media, that I ripped her off, durring wich there were several customers in the showroom. It was very disrespcetfull and uncalled for.
Later that day I decided to call her, I really take my business to hart and I was upset with the way things ended. When I talked to her she did’t want the warranty she purchased and I said thats fine, I can cancell it for her. Then we discussed her trade value, I explaind the way we price our vehicles and explained the way we appraised her car. I told her I know other dealers dont show a price so they can show inflated trade prices, also how they do a "push pull or drag" approach so they can show thousands for a vehicle that isn't worth anyhthing, there are lots of "number games" but I have always clearly my prices and showed a fair trade. She was totally understanding and said she really liked the vheicle and understood the "difference" it cost her to trade. She also said that it was her son that caused the situation, and she really liked the car.
Her trade vehicle was in poor condition. The wheels are scraped, the tail light is broke, the right front fender is scratched and dented, the passinger side rear quarted panel is scratched and dented, the dash on the passinger side where the air bag is placed is rolled and Sundamaged, the passinger side heated mirror is smashed, and there are numerous burn holes in the seats. It also needs PA inspected at the end of the month. I know she is in the pet grooming business and it litterally took 2 days of scrubbing and vacuming the interrior to get the dog hair removed. We also disposed of 2 garbage bags of trash.
Enclosed are pictures of the of the trade vehicle showing the condition. Also enclosed is the [redacted] value. My estimated cost to recondition her trade for resale is $1549.20 without doing the PA inspection. I really feel she got a very fair trade allowence.
I hope this clears up any question of being "ripped off". The customer also was supposed to mail a check for $350.00 and the title to her trade wich I have not recieved yet ?R. D[redacted]
