Review: Mr. [redacted]t installed a a/c heating unit in April, 2013. Problems occurred that winter with the heating component. It literally take hours for unit to move from one degree to the next. Mr. [redacted] has changed the tonnage at my expense to no avail. I was informed by three consultants that the unit was installed improperly. A list of needed corrections was provided that included shortening furnace vent pipe and moving roof jack. Mr. [redacted] came with roofer but failed to connect vent pipe to roof jack according to a licensed installer. I was warned not to use unit due to possible exposure to carbon monoxide. In addition, I paid Mr. [redacted] monies for insulated boxes of which he failed to install.Desired Settlement: Inadequate heat compromises my physical health and well being. In addition, I was put at risk for possible exposure to carbon monoxide. On very cold nights I have to sleep elsewhere. Mr. [redacted], by his failure to correct problems has proven that he lacks the skills to do installations. I later discovered that he is not a licensed contractor. Given the cost of estimated repairs (approximately 4000.00)and the stress, inconvenience endured full refund is the least alternative.
