Mighty I.T. Mobile Computer Repair Reviews (1)

As to the first complaint from Mr. [redacted], I did indeed take his used HP Compaq dc5750 Business Desktop Computer, along with a used 17" flat screen 4:3 monitor, and a used wireless mouse and keyboard set from his home, after promising to assess, repair, clean, and sell them for him and give him...

whatever profit came from the sale.  I found a similar desktop on eBay (without all the dirt and malware) for about $50, and  I've attached the eBay listing.  After spending $80 in labor, I sold them a few days ago for $200, so I have a $120 check for him.  I will mail it to him using certified postal mail today.  He never asked me how much money he could get for his equipment, and I was quite pleased to get $200.Regarding Mr. [redacted] second complaint, I sold him a refurbished HP Pavilion dm4-1063cl laptop in excellent condition (with a brand new retail Western Digital hard drive) for $180 and a wireless mouse for $10, and charged him $75 labor to deliver and set up the computer and move all of his data from the old computer to the new one, for a total of $265.  I have located a similar laptop on Amazon.com for $325 used (I attached the listing), so I feel that it was an excellent deal.  I refurbished the machine myself and set it up for him, and it was in perfect working condition when I left.  He called me later that day or the next and told me that he had turned on the fingerprint reader and he hated it, but could not figure out how to turn it off, so he wanted me to come to his house for free and turn it off for him.  He had also dropped the wireless mouse and broke it and he wanted it replaced for free.  I explained (maybe abruptly, as I was very busy) that I could not come to his house for free and he became irate.  He threatened to report me to you (the Revdex.com), screamed at me, and hung up on me.  I immediately called him back to offer a compromise solution, and he wouldn't answer his phone.  I kept trying to reach him on and off for the rest of that day, even going to his house with a new mouse, but he would not talk to me or answer my phone calls. I left the new mouse at his house and waited for him to call me, which he never did.  I feel I already did enough for him regarding the refurbished laptop, and my only offer to him is to buy back the laptop from him for $180 if it is in the same condition as when I left it at his house.  If he will notify me that he wishes for that to happen, I will bring over a cashier's check anytime he wants me to. Just as a side note, I have visited Mr. [redacted] home several times to repair his computer, and have been present during his long rants about Tiger Direct and other vendors and how he was complaining to the Revdex.com and contesting the charges with his bank because he didn't like whatever they had sold him.  I can't attest to the actual products or their value, but the complaints that he voiced to me seemed entirely specious.  Now it seems that the same specious complaints are leveled at me and my business. Please let me know what else I need to do to resolve this complaint.
