Mighty Moovers, Inc Reviews (2)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThe mighty moovers’ founder, Brandon, is referring to the wrong group of people, that is the first problemWe did not move from the 10th floor of an apartment complex, nor did we move into another apartmentOne of the movers, with the first group that were supposed to be a group of three workers, came to our apartment without his coworkersHe showed up early ahead of the truck and told us he thought it would take more time to move our thingsHe arrived just before the freight elevator was closed up for the night (after we had reserved hours to use it as I said in my previous message) and said he couldn't work because he was too tall to get into the regular elevator with our itemsFurious, we called his boss and were assured by phone they would be back tomorrow to begin the job because of the rest of the movers hadn’t arrived and were apparently stuck in rush hour trafficThe next day, two movers arrived to get us out of the apartment instead of the three offered from the first set of movers and apparently this was another group with another price rangeThere is another problem that I was just reminded of by my boyfriendThe movers that arrived the second day called themselves the *** *** instead of the Mighty MooversThey told us about the switch-a-roo after we had paid them and it was on the receipt we receivedWe were sent another set of movers from another company other than the one we were supposed to be working with and payingThe guy who complained that the elevator was too small (hinting that the elevator was in perfect working order and he’d used it), showed up this second time too, part of this ‘different’ set of movers we were now working withThey had a set number of pieces we needed them to move: our bed, our frame, our dressers and nightstands, two book shelves a storage rack, an entertainment center, two DVD storage shelves, a two-person kitchen table, a microwave rack and about ten boxesThey made about trips down to the truck at the most, most likely not even that much, and that is with our moving equipment that we bought or paid forMost of our stuff was packed and goneWe'd worked at this move by slowly transporting stuff in our cars for about three weeksBasically, again, there was very little left in the apartmentWe’d asked for help removing furniture and a few lingering and packed boxesThey fit everything into 3/of a 17-foot Penske truck they had rented somewhereThere was a two-row stack of items in the far back and everything else on the floor toward the frontWe packed everything we wanted close to us in our own cars, most of the remaining boxes and etcand my boyfriend still had to help them move furniture and boxes tooThe movers damaged our solid wood book case trying to, I guess, maneuver aroundWe finally asked them to stop moving the small items and get the bigger things, furniture, into the truck so we could go (again, paying by the hour)We wound up coming back later that night (because we had to be out that night) and cleaned and moved stuff until about in the morning because the rental manager was kind enough to let usAgain, they (the mighty movers or the *** *** whichever it may be) did not move us into another apartmentThey moved us into a HOUSEEverything went into a dining room, on the first floor, with a clear path through because there was nothing else in the room to block themWhat did not go into the dining room went into the living room and those were our couches, microwave stand, book shelf, and some other miscellaneous items that were listed above that were barely enough to fit the length of the couch and we did not fill either room we usedWe did make the mistake of asking them to move some of the bedroom furniture up to the second floorThat included the bed, the simple metal bed frame that splits into piecesand two dressers and one nightstandNothing else would fit into the room we were going to be using for a short whileLater, we moved the furniture into our permanent room on our ownWe've never met Brandon in person, nor did our parentsOur parents had nothing to do with this move as most of them have medical problems and couldn't have helped if they wanted tooIt was a work day for most of our friends and family, HENCE why we hired moversThey were all at home on separate sides of townWe moved into the house of an elderly white couple who were on their way out of the house and were mostly gone except for their own few items to live, clothes and baggage to last them until they were fully outWe are not white, you can assume they are not our parents and I live with my boyfriend who also moved with me from the apartmentEverything else of theirs had nothing to do with the mighty mooversTheir stuff was not in the way or in the houseIt was all in a truck and ready to leave with the kind couple whose house we were moving into alreadyNow, please inform Brandon that he should be ashamed for, one, not keeping up with a listing of the people he makes appointments and such with, two, not confirming who he is talking about before he responds to a serious matter such as this, and three, offering prices and services he cannot provideFor all of the CRAP we were put through, there was no discount or even a legit pricing out of payment due other than a guy standing in our driveway with a calculator, a piece of paper, and his own memory to rely onI swear we shouldn’t have paidLazy would be not calling him on his lies and not helping with the move, that was costing us money apparently by the hourNow I apologize for not being as helpful as three burly men but I’ll be ashamed for him if he lies one more time and say I, we, didn’t helpI have respect for myself and the people I work with as long as they are honest and professionalHe could take a page from my bookRegards, *** ***

customer know that since the job was second on the day that they would be under discretion of the first move, however we did arrive and did complete the move in the same day. When we arrived we noticed that not much was packed , I went to the jobsite myself and helped pack the belongings. When I arrived I brought her parents some donuts and they were happy and not concerned at all about the time issue. We had to walk.... and I'm not exaggerating 1 mile down the hallway on the 10th floor and take a hoarder like apartment down a small elevator, there were atleast 50 trips back and forth with 3 guys to get all there belongings moved. When we arrived at the new apartment it was also on the top floor and another mile walk to that apartment, not only that but the freight elevator was broke and we had to bring all their belongings up in a coffin size elevator. I apologize for my unprofessional ism in saying this but people like this that are unbelievably lazy and expect everything for free really have me lose faith in humanity. Not only was this job 10x more difficult then explained , I also gave her a 50% discount and instead of a thank you I get a complaint to the Revdex.com, trying to get a full refund.Best WishesBrandon S[redacted]
