I have visited the might taco on Walden Ave. the past 2 weekends (7/26 & 8/2). I was greatly disappointed with both visits. Both visits were through the dive through. On 7/26, I waited in the drive through lane for almost10 minutes before they even took my order. Placed order and waited another 10 minutes to receive and pay. Got home, order was wrong. Upset, but what they gave me I ate. It looked like they were short staffed, so mistakes could be expected.
Went again on 8/2. Once again, waited in line almost 10 minutes to place order. Another 10-15 minutes to pay and receive food. Got to window to pay, and the girl (Nany) said an amount, but she was so quiet and quick, I didn't completely understand her, so I gave her my card. Got my receipt and realized the amount couldn't have been for the food I ordered and that the ordef was wrong (again). This time I just realized before I got home. Knowing that I would be waiting for another 10 minutes(or longer) for them to correct, I asked for a refund. She rudely told me that trey were very busy (had line in drive through and customers inside) and that a refund wait take some time. Really! It took 1 minute to take my money; it should only take 1 minute to refund it.
1. If the employee would have confirmed the order at time of taking it, this could have probably been avoided. (on both occasions)
2. The people working the drive through are rude; like I'm inconveniencing them because I want some Mighty Taco.
3. Being a musician, sometimes late-night fast food take out is the only option. (I prefer Mighty over McD's.)
4. For the wage that you have to pay these employees, it's unfortunate that they feel bothered for doing their job. Not to mention their attitude to go along with it. Not my fault they screwed up my order. I should be the one with the attitude.
5. And how do you run out of rice? It's one of the main components of items on your menu.
I doubt I'll be visiting again any time soon, which is unfortunate. One of the better placsd to get food at night.
