This is in response to the complaint filed by *** *** (the “Customer”) against Identity Protect LLC (the “Company”)On or about December 3, 2014, the Customer applied for a financial services product through the Company’s website at which time the Customer purchased an optional ID Protection
Service at a cost of $per monthThe electronic signature’s IP address was verified and matched the Customer’s home state of residenceUpon enrollment to the Protection Product, a welcome email was sent to the email address listed by the customer advising of the costs and benefits of the program, as well as the option to cancel prior to the first charge on December 5, 2014. Emails are sent on a monthly basis to the Customer by our service provider advising of the Customer’s ID Protection status along with our contact information As uncovered in our call records the customer attempted calls to us on June 12, and on May 22, at which time a voicemail was left but not returned. The Customer was then able to cancel his subscription through our online portal on June 15, Since we pride ourselves in customer support, prompt voicemail replies, and live agents that answer our phones we are in agreement with the customer that our level of customer support did not meet our strict criteria and expectationsWe will reach out to the customer to resolve the dispute and apologize for the lapse of service and we will be making the necessary adjustments to our systems
