electricianis in charge of connecting the compressor, since the mechanical work is alreadydone which includes ducting work. Once installation of the equipment is donethe 1 year labor guarantee which Mikassa offers start to count.  Mr. [redacted] installation was completed on01/11/2014 meaning his 1 year labor guarantee is expired. Mikassa is notresponsible for the electrical and plumbing connection to the house since weonly do Mechanical Work which was completed. When Mr. [redacted] contacted us he wasinformed there was going to be a charge since his 1 year labor guarantee wasexpired, and he did not agree. On May 18,2015 we received a call from Mr. [redacted] requestinga proposal for new central air, during the call he informed us that the currentunit he had was not cooling like it should, Mr. [redacted] had a 2.5 ton unitfor a 1,200 square feet home. Mikassa set up an appointment with Mr. [redacted]for...

a free estimate, Ms. [redacted] our technician showed up to the appointmenton May 18, 2015 and confirmed him that he did need a larger unit for his homesince every 400 sqaure feet require 1 ton, and she suggested a 3.5 Ton unit. Duringthe estimate our technician checked the roof temperature using an InfraredThermometer and suggested Mr. [redacted] that he needed to get better insulationinstalled since what he had was not going to be enough to help keep the housecool, . MiKassa is a A/C & heating company, we have nothing to do withinsulation and we do not take responsibility with air ducts that were alreadyinstalled before.  Attached is a copy ofthe job agreement where it stated that the air ducts were not included andwhere Mr. [redacted] signed stating he agreed. Complaint No. 10743668       Mikassa installed a heat and air conditioning unit on July 21, 2014 at the residance of [redacted], on the job agreement signed by Mrs. [redacted] it states that the warranties for labor is for 1 year. She called us...

before the warranty expired and we went to fix the problems, the services performed were as follows: the unit needed freon and the reason for that was because the unit forced itself and the lines froze it was caused by the filters, she was adviced to make sure she changes the filters appropriately so that wouldn't happen again. She then called again because it was not working properly it would not blow cold air, she was told that we would be happy to help her even though her warranty had expired, for her just to give us time for when a tech would be available. Unfortunately she did not want to wait and she wanted our service right at that moment even though she was aware that her warranty had expired. In the contract after the warranty expires she can call any ac/heat unit company for services since we have already met the terms on the contract. We apologize we have had problems with the phone lines from Mikassa but on the other hand the office is located on 12206 W Middleground dr Odessa Tx  79763 and it is not a motor home, all they have to do is make an appointment because we do estimates at customer's homes and normally the technicians and sales reps are working out of the office.  Attached is the contract, proof that Mikassa met with all the terms and conditions on the warranty until it expired.I appreciate the attention to this matter; if you have any questions feel free to contact me.   Mikassa A/C and Heating [redacted]
