Consumer contacted us Sunday 8/via emailMike 200,Miles reached out to him on that Sunday via phone and apologized for any
inconvenienceVehicle was moved to Mike 200,and repaired without further cost to consumerConsumer satisfied
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2014/09/26) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I had two independent shops examine my brakes after Mike's 200,Miles finished their "second" round at fixing the brakes and both say they saw no immediate concern, but expressed that the quality of parts used were extremely poor and that I should be prepared to have both the brake pads AND the brake rotors replaced within a year because there was already signs of wear just within a couple of weeksOverall, the brakes are operating normally except there is excessive brake dust: my wheels are almost black after just a couple of weeks
One of the reasons we chose this establishment was that they were using Ceramic Brake pads - and Ceramic brake pads are supposed to have the least amount of brake dust of any other brake material
Also- we chose this establishment because we were looking to save a little money and their initial price (over the phone without seeing the car) was significantly less that our Honda Dealer's priceHowever, after all of their "discoveries" once they started working on the car the price ended up much higher then the dealer's 'guaranteed' price (by over $100)
We contacted our bank and they have issued a temporary credit to our account until they receive a response from Mike's 200,Miles, but we have not heard back from our bank
I am tempted to take the car to our local Honda dealer and have then the entire brake job and charge Mike's 200,Miles for that expense
Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2014/10/22) */
We have reached out to the client and have made two offers To completely the brake job (which was completed on 9/1/2014) and We made an additional offer to partially reimburse the client for any inconvenience they may have encounteredThe customer was appreciative of the offer and was scheduled to come to Mike 200,Miles but did not come to our facility as planned

We are extremely sorry for any issues Ms. [redacted] is having, however, we have no record of ever having done business with...

her? We wonder if she may have this location confused with another? Our only record of any activity with this consumer is from a mailer response a few weeks back whereby we were looking to purchase vehicles. Ms. [redacted] responded by calling the dealership and our manager was extremely professional in asking if she was interested in selling her vehicle. She indicated that the vehicle in question was no longer hers and asked to be removed from any mailing lists - which we complied with. We are located in an "automall" area and wonder if she possibly has our location confused with another?
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/04/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I included a letter that was sent to me, so unless you are not the business on the letter I am correct.
The 2 people I spoke to were completely demeaning, I am not their "honey, baby nor darling"
I had come for a test drive on my first experience. so no you have no record of my buying from you. Your salesman was as worse than the people on the phone. This vehicle is not attached to me in any way, I have checked my credit info to verify. The letter sent made it look that I was in default on a [redacted], I bought else where and got rid of 10 years ago.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 11, 2015/05/11) */
I am extremely confused here and can find nothing on our end to indicate we are or have been attempting to contact this customer. I would like for this customer to provide any copies of letters that she has received that indicate our dealership is attempting to make contact regarding a vehicle in repossession or otherwise. In addition, if Ms. [redacted] is able to provide dates or approximate dates as well as what number was dialed I would be happy to compare this information to our records to verify that calls are not being made from our store.
Again, we do want Ms. [redacted] satisfied, but we currently can not find anything to show contact is being made from our organization.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 15, 2015/05/22) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I sent the letter in with the original complaint. you already have a copy of it.
also, I called on 3 separate occasions, from different numbers, and verified that the number on the letter was the number for your company. one time asked for the sales man listed. he was demeaning, calling me baby, honey, and hanging up on me. the second time I asked for the GM, I believe it was the same person I spoke to the first time, as I was treated the same, the third time I asked for the owner, and was baby, honey, darling and hung up on again.
you already have all of the info you asked for.
