n response to the allegations made against me by [redacted].Back in may  I met [redacted] She wanted a quote for me to build her log home. After giving her quote for this house with an unfinished basement other than a storage room walled off. I...

quoted her my price. I also told her I had 2 other bids out and if she wanted to be second, as I was already building one I had under contract, that she needed to get signed asap, so I met her at [redacted] office in Shelbyville.During the meeting she said she couldn't get that much financed and also didn't have her loan even financed yet. So I told her I wasn't signing anything without the retainer needed to set my schedule. On that same day I met another lady in that same office even before [redacted] left and quoted hers. It took [redacted] around 5 weeks I think to get her finances in order as her loan officer went to a different bank to work. Then in June she said she was ready to sign. By then I had signed on a third house which was a small one and only took 5 days to get under felt and ready for the roofing materials. After I met her at her bank and signed all their paperwork she said the kit was scheduled to come shortly thereafter.  I told her I would schedule it as the site work on the property wasn't even done which consisted of cutting trees in a 30 ft path almost 400 ft long, crossing a creek. The first quotes on the drive put her over what the bank would finance so I told her I could keep the driveway price down to 35,000 by doing it myself. Then within a week after signing the contract, the Southland M,ill called me and said the kit was loaded and coming the next morning. I had no choice but to schedule a forklift to unload it. All three truck drivers said they were told to stop everything and get this kit ti the site cause [redacted] said we were ready for it. We had just started cutting the trees and were no where near ready to send for the kit. We unloaded the kit and I had to spent $300.00 on tarps to cover and protect the wood. All we could do was set it out next to the road. The neighbor across from her property said he was in law enforcement and I asked him to keep an eye on it to keep stuff from getting stolen. I pulled men off another job we were on to get the drive cut out and in so I could get the materials off the side of the road. I wasn't ready to start her job yet but was forced to in order to protect her material from theft, water damage, and warping from the sun. She told me once her brother had to recover some of the materials but when I got there everything was the same.Once I made the job site accessible, I had to rent a forklift again to move everything back to the home site and bought more tarps and recovered them. During this time I hired on more men to keep the progress going and returned to my first job site, which was under contract before I even met [redacted]. Ive got hundreds of hours getting the site ready and thousands of dollars in gravel and an oversize culvert for crossing the creek. I went larger on the culvert pipe because the road going in and also the neighbors drive washed out multiple times, caving the road in.  We dug the basement and garage footer and was within a couple of hours of being finished when she changed it to the basement not being as deep so that she could have windows in the sides.  Also, we moved it back to the hillside, which was where she had originally told me it would be. The markers, which she had a surveyor do, was almost 20 ft. off resulting, in a complete re-digging of the foundation and footers so the garage could have a breezeway to the second floor of the house. We were within a couple of hours of completing the digging, when the homeowner of my first signed contract became upset and I almost lost his job. We were never informed by any homeowner association that any of my crew were seen using drugs on the job. As for disturbing the peace, I had 4 to 5 chainsaws going at once and heavy equipment developing the property. Then [redacted] set a date with the bank and told me it was on Wednesday the 13th, but on Tuesday she informed that I had missed the appointment, as Tuesday was the 13th.  it was at that point I was ordered not to return to the property or face charges. I have equipment on her site that she hasn't allowed me to get, such as, a dump truck and backhoe. I have lost the use of that equipment for a month now and been having to rent equipment as a result. Thank you, [redacted]
