Dear Revdex.com , In regards to **Clarks response, I told his technician when I made the original call, that it was the exhaust fan and was attached to a inch ductHe made the assumption that it was the main blower motorI even tried to give him the part number of the fan , but he said they were all the same, and that is when he assured me that he had one on the truck That is when I told him to come on overWhen he got here, I showed him the problem and pointed to the fanHe said "oh yeah” but most people don’t usually know what part they need and he thought I meant the main fanI don’t see how him not believing me is my faultHe didn’t have to trouble shoot anything because I already knew what the problem wasI don’t mind paying for a service, but this time I really don’t think I received anyAlso when the technician called me back the next morning, he said it would take to weeks to get a partIt is winter, I can’t wait to weeks for a part that is right down the streetI called *** back the same day and told them no thanks I don’t think I should also be charged for them looking up a part number for minutes when It only took me minutes to make a call and find oneI have never heard of any business charging someone for looking up a part numberSeriously? Let me know what you thinkAs for as what was said with the technician, I was there and *** Clark was notI think the story is changing a littleI sat down and wrote a page letter of the events the day this happened and would be happy to send you a copyI think it is more accurate than what is now being saidthank you again

Business Response to a Complaint Complaint ID#: [redacted] Company Name: [redacted] Clark Heating Cooling & Refrigeration Inc Company Contact: [redacted] Company Phone: [redacted] Company Email: [redacted] Person Who Sent the Complaint: [redacted]...

[redacted] Staff Member: Response: Per our records on February 22, 2016 **. [redacted] called our after hour technician and stated that he had a bad motor. Our technician asked **. [redacted], which motor? **. [redacted] replied that it was the one hooked to the metal duct. Without being able to properly diagnose the system while being on the phone our technician assumed **. [redacted] was talking about an evaporator blower motor; something we carry on our trucks. Therefore, our technician said we had a motor. **. [redacted] approved for our technician to come out to his home. Once there our technician discovers it was a bad exhaust motor hooked on a metal flu pipe. We do not carry exhaust motors on our trucks. Our technician got the model and serial number off of the furnace and told **. [redacted] that he would go to [redacted] the next morning to locate a motor. [redacted] is a local Goodman/Amana distributor; who sells OEM parts for **. [redacted]’s furnace. [redacted] told our technician that they did not stock this motor, due to the furnace being (20+) years old, but they could get one from the factory in 7 – 10 working days. The cost for the part was $324.00. On Tuesday February 23, 2016 our technician called **. [redacted], stated that the parts and labor together would be between $500 - $600 dollars and would be 7 – 10 days working days before we could make the repair. Or we could price him a new furnace and get him heat in his home in a day. **. [redacted] declined repairs, stating he had found a motor for $91. **. Clark called to speak with **. [redacted] and try to explain to him that our company only install OEM parts, NOT foreign built knock offs. When we install them we have to warranty them. Towards the end of the conversation **. [redacted] stated that he will not pay for the service call and that if an invoice were sent he would report [redacted] Clark to the Revdex.com. **. Clark has been working in this trade for 30 years and unfortunately about once in a couple of years we run across people that think your technician’s time is worthless. How would **. [redacted] feel if he got called to work afterhours, has to take time from his family and loved ones, for someone to basically tell him his time and effort is worth nothing at all? **. [redacted] had also stated that our service technician was only at his house for ten minutes; that is not true. Our Technician also spent another ½ hour the following day at [redacted] trying to locate and order an OEM part on **. [redacted]’s behalf. Therefore, the technician is on the clock and billable to **. [redacted]. We feel that **. [redacted] is cheating us. By not paying the bill, he is saying our technician’s time and our time as a company is worthless and means nothing. Sent on: 3/14/2016 2:30:58 PM

Dear Sirs, The following is a response to the complaint submitted on 3/7/2016 ID #[redacted]:  **. [redacted] called our after hour technician and approved our technician to come out to his home. Technicians cannot properly diagnose any system over the phone. Unless **. [redacted] is a certified HVAC technician himself, our technicians cannot base their diagnosis on his word.  This will be our last response, due to the account considered delinquent and will be turned over to collections.
