I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowAfter meeting with Mr*** for hrshe checked on my concerns with the salesman, job foremen and accounting departmentA week later we spoke on the phone, he indicated he had made changes to invoicing policies to make sure that, in the future, invoices would be sent prior to over-due statementsI disputed "extras" as being work not done as part of the contractThe work was done on the perimeter of secondary roof and was to be blended onto existing roofGreat Lakes chose to do the work while the roof was covered with ice and snow and assured me that any flaws in the blending that appeared in the spring would be addressed when work was done on the primary roofLeaks did appear in May and Great lakes was advised, no extras were discussed or authorized, in fact "extras" were discussed on the primary roof and were not agreed to, as they were not necessary and could be done at a later date if neededI inquired as to the condition of decking on primary roof, because that agreement allowed for extra charge on time & material basisI was assured none was needed and none was installed.Mr*** disagreed, insisting that work on secondary roof was not part of the contract, but "extras" that I had authorizedHe told me to make him an offer to resolve the dispute, he would not make any commitment before an offer by meI asked for details and dates on the charges not itemized on the invoiceHe responded first with dates and later with more detail when askedThe itemized charges seemed unreasonable with labor @ $hrand OSB board @ $per sheetWhen I pointed out that these rates were to times the rate on the proposal, Mr*** stated that they lost money on the jobI offered to pay $2,to resolve the matter even though none of $7,additional charges were authorized and that the work was part of the agreementMr*** lost his temper, screamed that he was "slapping a lien" on my property in days and ended the call.I have paid over $28,for roofing work from Great Lakes Roofing, every payment and deposit I made was as-agreed and on timeI am left with a roof that still has leaks, a water damaged electrical panel, a roof with no warranty on installation that has yet to go through a winter.This is not the behavior I would expect of a company accredited by the Revdex.com
