I am rejecting this response because: First they are correct about one thing, the months was not the extended warranty. What my complaint revolves aroud is the fact that although it's stated in the contract (which is a three foot long document that I did not read), that the Seller has the right to cancel should they not be able to assign the loan, there was NO mention of this during the purchase process, which I feel is a VERY IMPORTANT thing to mention to a buyer who thinks they just bought a car. And if the interest rate was not something realistic, then they should have also disclosed that information, although a previous dealer we had gone to had offered the same low interest rate (1.9%) on a month loan. Instead, they told us that because of our good credit, "they could get this rate all day long." (Their exact quote) In addition, THREE BUSINESS DAYS passed in which they could have advised me of this matter and I possibly would/could have contacted my own credit union to see what they could offer (which I had on another car same year and make and they quoted 3.5%). When we called to ask if the car was ready, AGAIN, no mention that the car was not "officially" ours, we were just told it was ready for pick up, so we made the drive across town in the rain, excited to pick up our new car and THEN found all of this out. I just that this is really bad business practice. It should have been disclosed to me up front that this purchase was contingent upon them assigning it to a lender. And it was insulting for them to counter offer with a loan at 6.75%, I KNOW there are better (lower) interest rates and loans available even for cars.

Mr. [redacted] purchased a 2008 Ford Taurus. We provide our
customers who purchase pre-owned vehicles from us a 3 month/3000 mile extended
warranty free of charge. However, struts are not covered under this warranty
because they’re considered a wear item. Our used vehicles are AS IS – No...

for all items not covered under the Free extended warranty we give them. We
perform a safety inspection and fix major issues on all of our used vehicles,
but we don’t repair and replace every part on the vehicle – it’s a 6 year old
used vehicle. Mr. [redacted] also had the foresight to purchase a Ford ESP Base Care
extended warranty which covers the struts. Due to some issues registering the
ESP with Ford it did not show in the computer system. When Mr. [redacted] brought
his vehicle in and our Service Advisor quoted him over $800 to fix his vehicle
as customer pay not knowing he purchased an ESP. We have contact Mr. [redacted] and
quoted him $205 which is for 2 brackets not covered under the ESP and his $100 deductible.
We have contacted the customer and are in process of making an appointment to look at the vehicle this week
