I am very disappointed and unsatisfied with the work Challenger Pools has done for my family It was hard to get a straight answer from anyone who worked there Challenger installed a pool back around September /October for my family I made several attempts in the beginning to get problems resolved such as the company keeping their appointments and installation The job the did was unsatisfactoryThe BIGGEST problem were the paversPavers are cracked, chipped and uneven which is causing the cage to shift and screws are coming out The company that installed the cage has come to our home times in the past or months I've had children cut the bottom of their feet while walking in the pavers I no longer can have my children's friends swim in our pool because I don't feel comfortable They have not returned MY CALLS

I will absolutely do business with challenger again, and in fact, have already recommended several neighbors and friends to use them for your remodel needs5-star all around!

I requested a quote for a new construction pool. The representative they sent out appeared to be very professional, & courteous. He gave me options for pools, and discussed the construction process with me. He requested the survey of my home, which I gave him ( the original....,,,crazy me), he assured me that they would make a copy, & mail it back to me. I never got my survey back!!! Additional, he stated that he would email me the estimate for the pool, I never got that either! To say this company has poor customer/representive service, is being kind. I'm very disappointed with the treatment I received!
Challeger Pool did a terrific job on my pool renovation. The original tile job was a bit overboard and looked like a checkerboard. It now looks terrific and looks like a new pool.
My experience with Challenger Pools was eight months of extreme frustration, left with a substandard product and lousy customer service. For the first four months there was no project management occurring with our pool construction. I had to constantly pester the subcontractors to get work done. The dimensions I paid for shorted me by about 18 inches of length. The finish shows grooves and imperfections from the shovels and backhoe used to dig the shape of the pool. There are large pieces of finishing concrete missing around the suction outlets at the bottom of the pool. The screen cage nuts, bolts and door action are already rusting after only a year. The pavers weren't cut tightly or laid evenly, and sand was carelessly tossed about the deck without any sealant, allowing significant erosion. I've had to tuck the screening material into the screen cage twice, and the frame at the bottom of the screen cage shows large gaps of space due to the uneven pavers. The pump was sold to me as a variable speed pump, when it's only a dual speed pump that hasn't been made for years. All the parts appear to be the cheapest parts available that have probably been in their warehouse for years. I do not recommend Challenger Pools to anyone! You get what you pay for... well, not even that in this case. Do yourself a favor and shop around. Ask people in the business, like [redacted] or other pool supply shops.
I contacted Challenger Pools back in November of 2014 and instantly realized that Steven was representing the company I wanted to work with. Steven worked hard and tirelessly on designing the perfect pool, deck and enclosure with me and has been working just as hard throughout the entire process. We received our permit from the county to begin construction late January 2015 and broke ground February 13. The project was completed about a week ago (April 20th) and I could not be happier with my decision. I should acknowledge that our project was fairly large in everything.. The pool itself is over 650 square feet (37x25) and our deck and enclosure total 2,100 square feet. We chose the best of everything from pool lights to a full automation system (completely controlled anywhere in the world) to travertine pavers and I must say my project was definitely not easy. We had to fight a swampy preserve behind my house by building a retaining wall all while working with my awkward property shape angled like a side way triangle. I felt informed throughout the entire project and every crew member that came through was pleasant and professional.. (That is with the exception of the paver crew but they will get there own review since they do not represent the quality nor customer service I experienced with challenger.) I would not only recommend Challenger but I have given permission to Steven to give my personal number to anyone needing verification about my experience. I have also given him the permission to bring any client to my house to see the workmanship in person. Truly the best decision we could have made. The work was completed on time as promised, & Challenger went the extra step as after I refilled my pool, Mark monitored the pool water for a month, and added all the necessary chemicals to the pool to bring the pool to the proper balance. The finished product was absolutely perfect, as the workmanship & care that went into this job was execptional. More importantly, the customer service Challenger Pools provides is certainly worthy of being recognized. Further, I contacted Challenger Pools as I needed a modification to my deck, & within 2 days. Jerry, a supervisor with Challenger Pools, was at my home with his crew, performed the job to my expectations, & again provided exceptional service, with no caost to me as Challenger Pools stands behind all the work y provide. After many years of enjoying our pool we found our pool needing an update. We contacted Challenger Pools for an estimate. The salesman, Jay, came out and reviewed our options. Once the contract was signed we were kept up to date on progress throughout the process. Jay was always there to answer my concerns, whether it was on a Holiday or Sunday. The customer service was outstanding.
The finished product is amazing. It is like having a brand new pool. Beautiful pavers and pool finish. I would recommend Challenger Pools to anyone looking to build or remodel a pool.
Challenger recently did a complete restore of my 55 year old pool and I could not be happier. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, it's been a total pleasure. Every contractor that came over to do their part was 100% professional and left my property cleaner than it was before they got here. I can't say enough about the integrity of everyone involved, even the helpers were totally professional. Every thing they said they would do, they did and did it when they said they would do it. The final product exceeded my expectations and it was completed way quicker than I ever dreamed. I will recommend Challenger Pools to everyone I know.
