Mike Hammer and his crew were professional and was above all expectations. They were thorough and left the premises spotless. Had a porch repoured and was very pleased with the results, would highly recommend.
Great job done with pride!

Mike Hammer and his crew did an amazing job on our new concrete driveway. Our experience with everyone was wonderful, very professional, and excellent work. Mike Hammer was very knowledgeable and patient with all of our questions. Pricing was a little expensive, but well worth it.

We just had our sidewalks done by Mike Hammer. I can’t say enough good things about him, his crew and his work. Mike is very professional. He responded to my calls and text messages promptly and was very informative. He can be trusted to get the job done, with perfection, in the time frame given. I highly recommend Mike Hammer for your concrete needs. We will definitely be calling on him again for our next project.

We have used Mike for a stenciled patio and extended pad to our driveway. His work was excellent- we have had no cracked in oir patio or pad. He has even come out to put a sealer on the patio at no extra charge.

I paid Mike Hammer construction $24,000.00 to remove and replace my garage floor and driveway and add some additional concrete for a patio and stairs. He was also supposed to remove and replace the cap on my front porch wall. The finish on the concrete is awful. He poured too much at one time in the summer heat and the concrete set up before they could properly finish it. It looks terrible. They spattered concrete all over my front porch stone wall, my brick and my vinyl doors. Inside the garage they raised the bucket on their Bobcat and dented my brand new garage door. During the winter the driveway lifted in front of the garage and now water and snow won't drain out of the garage. At last count 6 of the slabs have cracked in less than a year. When the job was complete I waited a month then power washed the driveway so they could apply the sealant. As I was power washing, the concrete kept washing away exposing dozens of leaves just below the surface that they troweled over. I was so discussed I had to quit washing after doing only 4 slabs. Mike said they're was so many leaves they couldn't get them all so they finished right over them. Can you believe that?? The garage floor looked so bad I had to paint it. Mike comes off as a real nice guy and his prices seem decent. Don't let that fool you. His quality SUCKS. I wouldn't trust Mike Hammer Construction to pour a pad for a dog house.

Mike Hammer Construction Response • Feb 06, 2020

In response to the complainant Mr., I would like to apologize for leaving you unsatisfied with our workmanship. I felt that we did a beautiful job. Upon our final walk through I did everything to address the above issues. It appeared after having some minority workers on the property, the customer’s personality and demeanor changed. No matter what I did, it wasn’t going to be good enough. The customer seemed very disgruntled and spiteful because he couldn’t find anything to complain about. In response to the cracks in the driveway, I inform all customers at our first walk through consultation that I can’t prevent concrete from cracking. When concrete dries, it shrinks and then cracks. We sawcut control joints to relieve stress in the concrete, but there’s always the possibility that it could get a hairline crack in the middle of the concrete block through-out time. This is why we pour a 4500 PSI concrete mix at 4” thick with stealth fibre reinforcement on top of a compacted stone base and then apply penetrating sealer. Here at Mike Hammer Construction Inc., we value customer feedback. I’ve been with the Revdex.com for the majority of my years in business, between Mike Hammer Construction and Mike Hammer Construction Inc. and I’ve always maintained an A+ rating with no complaints.
It hurt’s me for our company to leave a bad taste in the mouth of a paying customer despite the circumstances. We strive for perfection, giving our clients the highest quality of workmanship and prompt completion.

The statement that my personality and demeanor changed because minority worker were on site is a complete fabrication that I find very offensive. I did everything I could to work with and accommodate Mike Hammer. I went out of my way to find a place for him to dispose of the asphalt from the old driveway a half mile from my house and for free. As he requested I gave him $2,500 CASH for work on my porch. I let it slide when his crew damaged my garage door. I also let it slide when he didn't follow the CAD drawing. Instead of putting in a curved walkway he put in a straight one. All I expected was to get the work we agreed to and what I paid for. Instead I received a poor quality job that pisses me off every time I look at it. Bottom line, I paid $24,000 for a crappy job that I am not happy with.
