Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
The reply is completely unsatisfactory. This man operates a business that is clearly a conflict of interest. He is begging for legal action. His counter is baseless. I know this will end in an unsatisfactory manner and simply want the public to be aware of his practice. I hope no-one else is duped!

Response to contract disputes : [redacted] did contract with my company for two home inspections, first one in [redacted], Colorado, 10/30/2014, for a normal cost of $275.00 and paid in full on...

11/3/2014. When she did not purchase that property [redacted] called me and asked if I would travel to [redacted], Colorado for a home inspection as she was pleased with the first inspection. I informed her I would but the cost would be $25.00 more for special trip out of area. She agreed that was fair, I completed the inspection on 12/02/2014 and sent the report and invoice the same day. Happy with everything she paid in full 12/04/2014. I do believe I am qualified as a home inspector for I have been in this line of work 30 years and actively hold a CLASS I GENERAL CONTRACTOR LICENSE.1. Shower issue I did report that ( No city water at time of inspection ) I am unable to discover leaks with out running water. 2. Washer issue : There was no sewage backup in the washer nor was there any back flow work being done at time of inspection. If that were the case the whole basement would have been flooded with sewage. 3. Paint job of the exterior of home was in the report ( The exterior wood siding is in need of minor rot repairs and painting issues. ) 4. The floor furnace pilot inspection glass was broken prior to the inspection date and at that time I did point that out to the realtor just to make sure no one used the gas furnace until a qualified I-1VAC company repaired and serviced the unit. As for the previous owner having witnesses stating that it was I who broke the pilot glass is absurd for there were only myself, my son and the realtor in the home at time of inspection. On 12/07/2014, I received an email from [redacted] about some prospective work to be done on the home once she closed and if I could pull together an estimate at my leisure as she would be most grateful. A few days after she closed I traveled to [redacted] to meet with her about the prospective work she needed an estimate on and to my surprise there were 3-4 construction workers remodeling hex bathroom and other parts of the borne. At that point I concluded she doesn't need my services and left. If I was at fault of anything it would be I didn't convey to [redacted] that I was not going to bid on any work. In closing [redacted] said I quoted : " I will cut you a break on the job since I messed up the caulking of the shower" Clearly I do not do business this way! On the morning of 04/27/2015 I received a message on my office answering machine from [redacted] about some of these so called issues and she was going to file a complaint with the Revdex.com and she had sought legal council. I tried to contact her three times and finally she answered late the next day 04/28/20] 5, after we discussed some items she said she would just drop the whole thing and at that point I informed her if she wanted to pursue her issues that we will be professional about it and to put it in writing and send it to me and I will respond back to each item in writing, apparently this is how [redacted] wants to handle this. For the Desired Settlement : NONE IS OFFERED !
