To whom it may concern, the pool at *** *** house was constructed in the winter of The walls of the vinyl liner pool were poured without any issues Several days after the concrete forms were removed we received a inch torrential rain The soil
conditions were heavy loam and clay therefore no DRAINAGE whatsoever The torrential rain collected on the north side of the pool and the long wall collapsed due to weather conditions beyond my control I was informed by *** of the collapse and immediately removed the damaged section , at no additional cost to *** I reinforced the wall with additional rebar and squared off the pool The *** selected a liner manufacturer from NJ who I had never used before The pool is an 18xrectangle with foot wide steps A simple liner to fabricate for most companies and even easier to measure Upon installation of the liner , the *** selected manufacturer added an additional vinyl step to the pool when on the schematic it was obvious that only three steps were drawn The *** selected vinyl manufacturer then took almost additional weeks to fabricate the new liner when they said they would make it a priority and did not Then they only gave me a $credit for the liner when ALL other manufacturers give $to $for their errors The weekly service tech that serviced *** pool has been with me since continuously and is extremely reliable The tech has a detailed log book of all the pools he services daily He serviced *** pool either Friday or Saturday mornings throughout the summer of There was little or no debris in the pool other than pollen and occasional leaves or grass The tech was instructed to clean out the cartridge filter once a month if the pressure dropped I personally cleaned out the filter three times last summer to find that the filter was already cleaned by my tech The filter installed on the pool with no debris in it is adequate for the pool the *** have If they want a larger filter it can be installed at additional cost to the *** The Jandy water leveling system was installed by Petes Electric The electrical tech who installed the initial system said to me verbatim that he smelled an electrical burning smell when he powered up the unit The unit was then replaced with a second unit at my cost That unit checked out all well and good as per Jandy instructions Bob would tell me that it did not shut off so I had the Jandy Service Technician install a THIRD Jandy Levelor system at my expense just to make everything right with the *** Concerning thir Loop Loc cover Ordinarily the cover would be installed directly into the sheer wall of the water feature, however: the block wall constructed by the landscape mason was completely hollow meaning that the standard Loop Loc anchors used for raised wall situations WILL pull out of the HOLLOw block with heavy snow loads Once the blocks are filled with portland cement the anchors may be installed in the sheer walls without pulling out.Until the hollow blocks are completely filled with cement the anchors will remain where they are, thanks you, Mark T***, Platinum Pools

In regards to the pool collaspe the reason for that is because the ground was never tampered which in turn made the water build up against the wall.This was told to me by a contractor on job who told Marks men to tamper area but they did not..Do not know if Platinum Pools measured wrong for liner or if manufacturer cut it wrong.In regards to his service tech he was telling Mark that he was coming to clean pool half of the times he never showed up and when he did I was cleaning out the baskets and the filter thats why when Mark looked at the filter it was clean.And he knows that because I sent him pictures of the baskets and filters.His service guy also told me that he had another job that Mark did not know about and it was difficult to clean all of the pools and was making more money cleaning the other pools.Was also told by my pool company I am using now that the filter Mark installed was too small for the pool and that is reason why it has to be cleaned so often.The water level system did not work the whole summer and flooded out my yard twice which I had to clean up at my expence.The loop lock covered was installed improperly according to other pool installers.Mark states that he did not want to drill anchors into pool wall but he did.His answer to fill the gap between the wall and the pool was to put a pvc pipe running the width of the pool tied to the anchors of the wall that he said he did not install with pieces of rope which when pool was just opened kept almost no debris out of pool.There are other issues that are not in complaint of how he thought by putting expoxy behind alight because of a crack in the conduit attached to the light
