Customer signed contract on 4/4/17. The permit was issued from the Township on 6/9/17 and pool excavated on 6/20/17. Blue Haven Pools has no control over the amount of time it takes to get a permit approved by the Township. The pool was gunited on 7/17/17 at which time the gunite payment was due. We...

do not move forward on project until this payment is received according to our contract. We received payment on 8/2/17. The tile & coping crew was on site by 8/9/17. The homeowner electred to do owner deck and owner fence. To date (9/14/17) they have not completed this work. Blue Haven Pools is still waiting to finish this pool. We can not continue until the deck and the fence is complete. Delays in this project were caused by the owners. Starting with the gunite payment and following through to the length of time it took to select their tile and coping all the way to today with no deck or fence completed. The only phase we have left on this pool is plaster and it can not be completed unless the deck and fence are complete and we have been waiting since 8/9/17. When the deck and fence is installed we will schedule for plaster.

We have been in communication with Mr. [redacted] and are presently investigating his latest new concern. We are currently in the meddle of testing and re-evaluating the spa, the entire plumbing system and the shell of the pool. This is to address the possible leak per Mr. [redacted]. To date our test results have remained the same. However we are looking further into this matter to address his concern. Sent on: 8/3/2015 1:57:27 PM

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The statements made by Mr. [redacted]...

are not entirely accurate.  Mr. [redacted] scheduled a final inspection of the property without spea[redacted] to us to confirm that we were ready for final inspection. We just saw a violation notice on our door on 9/15/2017. He only contacted us after he received a copy of the violation. We have email correspondence confirming this fact. When he rescheduled the 2nd inspection (Oct 19, 2017), he was a no show again, so another failed inspection with another penalty (we have emails confirming this). With the third inspection (10/25/2017) A blue haven rep was there to meet the inspector (not [redacted] the General Contractor), as well as myself. We failed because the pool did not have the electrical sticker on the panel box  and for  improper support of the plumbing system.  We have several emails pointing out the need to address the plumbing issue but Mr. [redacted] did not address the issue prior to inspection. We also have emails requesting that Mr. [redacted] come to do a walk through of the property to ensure that we were ready for the final inspection, but he did not. Throughout this whole ordeal, we were the ones reaching out for status updates. He boosts that the pool was done in 37 days but even up to today the pool is incomplete because we do not have a certificate of occupancy. As of  Nov 1, we still have not heard from Blue Haven as to when they plan to fix all the problems identified from the County so that we can pass inspection and get our Certificate of Occupancy.  A $200 a day fee is being assessed since Oct 25,  until we pass final inspection and get the CO. As for the $300 that Blue Haven paid for the first violation, Blue Haven took it upon themselves to pay the fine before the due date. We did not ask nor agree for them to pay this fine. We were going to appeal the violation as per the guidelines outlined in the violation letter because we were not in agreement with the violation. Again, poor communication on their part.We have copies of all email correspondence. We can provide upon request. We can also provide a copy of the New Castle County print out of their permit #201708200 which lists all failures and fees assessed.

[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the situation appear below:While the company has been out once, a year ago with a diver and no leaks were found with a dye test, no bucket test was ever conducted. The presurre testing was done during construction only and the water loss was found afterwards. There are multiple documented leaks and from the months noted in the original complaint. Despite repeated attempts, no repair has been made. The leaks are obviously in the plumbling because air bubbles are coming through the supply lines to the pool. I have asked for a new pressure test to isolate these lines, so far this has not been done. I noted to the builder that the plumbing subcontracter backed into the plumbing lines coming up from the ground while I was home during construction with a bobcat and may have damaged the lines underground. Also another plumbing line had to be completed by the deck contractor (with no plumbing expertise) while I was home to witness, because it was not connected by the plumber in time for when the deck was poured. Both items were documented by the homeowner to the builder and but have gone unchecked. The builder has no grounds to make a statement like above when the homeowner is filling the pool constantly and paying the excess water bills to keep the water above the skimer line. In fact is is quite insulting and offensive, as I have sent pictures to the builder documenting the water loss. I have owned another pool and I know what normal evaporation to expect. This is not normal. They need to come out and test the plumbing lines and repair the leaks for this problem to be resolved. There is no warranty process with this builder, only unanswered promises to be out and fix the problem.
Regards,

This letter Is In response to the recent complaint we received from [redacted]. We have been out to the [redacted]'s pool several times in the past years to check for leaks. We also have had a diver out and no leak was ever found. We have also pressure tested along with bucket tested this pool....

What the homeowner is experiencing is due to evaporation, weather conditions and normal usage. We are contacting the homeowner once again to explaf n this In hopes that we can resolve this matter. If Mr. [redacted] would like to file a warranty claim then he must follow Blue Haven's procedure. If you require any further Information, please feel free to contact us.
