To Whom it may concern, The other side of the store here is that the day the ruff in started [redacted] made many additional wiring requests that were not talked about prior to the quote be created The first day of construction he requested the following changes: Fire Place Plug be installed on own circuit back to panel, to accommodate future development into man cave TV plug be placed on wall on own Circuit back to panel to, to accommodate future development into man cave A Exhaust fan added, to be on its own circuit back to panel Lighting change: original was to be - foot surface mount light fixtures controlled off one switch, However [redacted] didn't want to have this style lights in his future man cave, and requested pot lights It was decided that pot lights on two light switches instead of one, on a alternating light pattern would best suit current requirements and future development This change required additional 14/wire and material, plus additional time to installThere was also wasted time in the creation on the new plan, which should been done before the job started, not the first day of a day ruff in job I Also purchased one pot light to show [redacted] as a example and ruff in brackets to expedite the installation to try and meet his deadline, something my quote said I wasn't reasonable for The Job detailed a 200amp service that couldn't be installed because [redacted] Failed to pull building permits for this project, their for I couldn't pull a electrical permit, so as temporary means to continue it was decided to run a tech cable to the house to provide power so his company could continue to operate, and get the permit issue sorted out laterSo the installation of a tech cable was never included in the quote, therefor lack of installation shouldn't be deducted from my invoice I understand I was supposed to install a 200amp service, but one or the other should be deducted not both The extra tech cable, as I have already told [redacted] , it wasn't installed to my plan( I was "Fired" at this point) My plan to install the cable allowed it to run across the foundation of his house to allow for a shorter trench This method would of took a longer distance, however would of required the must shorter distance to trench, the trench would of been from he closest corner of his home rather then farthest This would of allowed for approximately to ftless of trenching, this one done to keep the cost of the trench down Also the trench was to be feet deep with the cable incased in inch of sand above and below the cable, this is a Canadian electrical code rule and the cable was not installed to this way which would used up approximately another feet Also as I have mentioned to [redacted] , it is much more expensive to extend this type of cable if its to short, so as a trade rule extra is always ordered to ensure this doesn't happen, I am sure he wouldn't want to pay for the weather proof junction boxes and extra connectors if the cable had of been to short either The horizontal PVC pipe existing the garage was to allow for the future 200amp service that at the time he was still planning on installing it just needed to be shortened and a fitting attached to allow the tech cable to enter for the time being until the upgrade was to be done When I was still there the service was something he was talking about in the future, so this method was done to allow for the future upgrade The Surface mount panel, is typical installation when being done on a outside wall to allow for proper insulation behind the panel, to keep the R value in the wall higher This was the first thing I mounted in the building, and [redacted] never said anything to be about this until weeks later after I was fired from the job He seen it the first day and never brought up any concerns, this could have been easily corrected at no charge at the time He also never gave any job specification for this As a business that's always getting new equipment a surface mounted panel made more sense, I believe this merely a after thought for his future man cave As Far as the less wiring that was required, [redacted] continues to tell me it should of been cheaper based on less square footage However my argument on this issue is the original drawing showed there clothing dryer plug to approxfeet from there panel However due to the building size change the dryer had to be put on the opposite side of the building and therefor the heavy gauge (expensive) wire that was to feed it had more then tripled in the length required This type of change is a cost that falls on him The Oven plug he required was with the package, I seen it myself and its currently billed on my invoices They must of lost it during a clean up, it was there before my departure The amp breaker would not of been required if the Amp service could of been installed and is a change that was made after the job was quoted, again I can't be expected to pay for this and a cost of the cost of a new service be deducted as well These time constraints were not my problem, I showed up two days prior to began the job, however roof trusses and outer sheeting wasn't even on the walls yet It was to early to start a electrical ruff in, it would of been to easy to damage any wiring that went in by the rest of the crews working The facts are [redacted] 's project was behind when I got there, if he was on his original schedule there wouldn't of been and issues My schedule didn't allow me to be there on Friday or Saturday as I was already booked somewhere else, even tho I rearranged my schedule to be there Friday morning to finish ruff in so the job could continue He expected me to drop everything and complete his project because he was behind Also I told him I would return Monday and have the power hooked up, he told me this was no good he wanted it done Saturday as he was moving equipment in I told him it wouldn't be a problem, move in the equipment it wouldn't be in my way as my work was outside [redacted] didn't end up moving in until Wednesday, so my return Monday would of fit his schedule fine, there would of been power and heat in the building before the equipment arrived [redacted] states the wires were not connected into the panel, however I took pictures of everything before I left and I have photo showing all the wires entered into the panel They were not connected inside however this isn't required for ruff in stage, and were to completed on Monday And I am sure there are some other things I could find if I went back threw the file [redacted] believes there should be a deduction based on lack of service and some small items that were not completed However he is not talking into effect the extra's he requested or the additional purchases I made to move the project along The fact is the tech cable installation is more expensive then installing a new service I have provided [redacted] with quote from my suppliers that out lines the material required to complete the service and the tech cable alone costs more then the material for the service That's not taking into account the breaker, connectors and straps, plus the tech cable option is much more labor extensiveSo I am owed for these service's I have provided On my Departure form this job [redacted] requested I invoice him for my time and the material on the job, and that's all I have done I am not billing him for the new service or material for it, he requested to see my invoices from my suppliers so he could itemize what was used and I have done that in detail I broke my invoice down per invoice added standard markup and billed him at my regular hourly rate In a effort to resolve this I even offered him a price deduction in order to solve this issue and keep it out of collections/courts I Have collections firm that I use, there was a error in communications, so [redacted] will be removed from the collections process, and his company will have to deal with this dispute However this is not going away! I Hope this enough information to keep my rating on the Revdex.com, please let me know if you need any documents to support this information as I have it all on file, including the emails where [redacted] continues to insult me and show his professional manor of conducting business I would also like to know based on what you have read if there is a valid clam to place a complaint against his company?

*** has shown a great deal of dishonesty and sincerity given this process considering the credit consultant agency has now dropped the case against me personallyHe claims this to be an oversight, but it is clear it was intentional and one that has significantly discredited himIn addition, I asked for two additional plugs for possibly a tv or fake wall mount fireplace somedayJust simply two plugsThese were still not completed and only the casing was mountedThe 14/for the ceiling I purchased to run the pot lights and had another electrician compete this workfeet of tech cable remaining is significant no matter what plan he had for running itThere is only one way to get to my garage, so this shows a considerable lack of careWhen I expressed my concern he stated he had no use for the amount left overThere was never any oven plug which is why I had to purchase oneFrankly, this was his material to remove from the work site once his services were no longer required
My biggest concern is *** has lacked full disclosure during this entire processHe never once informed me the two plugs would cost extraHad I been fully informed of the alleged additional costs (outside of his original quote which clearly states everything was included), I never would have agreed for his company to complete the workHence, the importance of his original quoteI asked for a break down once I received his price (after his services were no longer required), since I was shocked to see the price was nearly the same for less less than half the workThis is truly disappointing and is one of many reasons why I continue to defend myself

To Whom it may concern,
The other side of the store here is that the day the ruff in started [redacted] made many additional wiring requests that were not talked about prior to the quote be created.  The first day of construction he requested the following changes:
1 Fire Place Plug be...

installed on own circuit back to panel, to accommodate future development into man cave.
2 TV plug be placed on wall on own Circuit back to panel to, to accommodate future development into man cave.
3 A Exhaust fan added, to be on its own circuit back to panel.
4 Lighting change: original was to be 9 - 4 foot surface mount light fixtures controlled off one switch,  However [redacted] didn't want to have this style lights in his future man cave, and requested pot lights.  It was decided that 15 pot lights on two light switches instead of one, on a alternating light pattern would best suit current requirements and future development.  This change required additional 14/2 wire and material, plus additional time to install. There was also wasted time in the creation on the new plan, which should been done before the job started, not the first day of a 1 day ruff in job.  I Also purchased one pot light to show [redacted] as a example and 15 ruff in brackets to expedite the installation to try and meet his deadline,  something my quote said I wasn't reasonable for.
5 The Job detailed a 200amp service that couldn't be installed because [redacted] Failed to pull building permits for this project, their for I couldn't pull a electrical permit, so as temporary means to continue it was decided to run a tech cable to the house to provide power so his company could continue to operate, and get the permit issue sorted out later. So the installation of a tech cable was never included in the quote, therefor lack of installation shouldn't be deducted from my invoice.  I understand I was supposed to install a 200amp service,  but one or the other should be deducted not both.
6 The extra tech cable, as I have already told [redacted], it wasn't installed to my plan( I was "Fired" at this point).  My plan to install the cable allowed it to run across the foundation of his house to allow for a shorter trench.  This method would of took a longer distance, however would of required the must shorter distance to trench,  the trench would of been from he closest corner of his home rather then farthest.  This would of allowed for approximately 30 to 40 ft. less of trenching, this one done to keep the cost of the trench down.  Also the trench was to be 3 feet deep with the cable incased in 6 inch of sand above and below the cable, this is a Canadian electrical code rule and the cable was not installed to this way which would used up approximately another 6 feet.  Also as I have mentioned to [redacted], it is much more expensive to extend this type of cable if its to short, so as a trade rule extra is always ordered to ensure this doesn't happen,  I am sure he wouldn't want to pay for the weather proof junction boxes and extra connectors if the cable had of been to short either.
7  The horizontal PVC pipe existing the garage was to allow for the future 200amp service that at the time he was still planning on installing.  it just needed to be shortened and a fitting attached to allow the tech cable to enter for the time being until the upgrade was to be done.  When I was still there the service was something he was talking about in the future, so this method was done to allow for the future upgrade.

And I am sure there are some other things I could find if I went back threw the file.
[redacted] believes there should be a 1500 deduction based on lack of service and some small items that were not completed.  However he is not talking into effect the extra's he requested or the additional purchases I made to move the project along.  The fact is the tech cable installation is more expensive then installing a new service.  I have provided [redacted] with quote from my suppliers that out lines the material required to complete the service and the tech cable alone costs more then the material for the service.  That's not taking into account the breaker, connectors and straps, plus the tech cable option is much more labor extensive. I Have collections firm that I use, there was a error in communications, so [redacted] will be removed from the collections process, and his company will have to deal with this dispute.  However this is not going away!  I Hope this enough information to keep my rating on the Revdex.com, please let me know if you need any documents to support this information as I have it all on file, including the emails where [redacted] continues to insult me and show his professional manor of conducting business.  I would also like to know based on what you have read if there is a valid clam to place a complaint against his company?

I have shown nothing but honesty regarding this matter, and have had no problem opening up my books for [redacted] to review, or anyone else for that matter.  To show my sincerity in this matter I even offered [redacted] a price negotiation discount in order to solve this matter without the use of an outside consultant.  However, [redacted] was not willing to even negotiate on the 1500 deduction.  Also threatened to use a protracted legal method to attempt to deter me from pursuing what is rightfully mine.  So being a man of my word I started the collections process, as I said I would in our correspondents.  I contacted the firm I use for delinquent accounts and sent them copies of all quotes and invoices, filled them in on the events that lead up to this situation.  From there I left it in their hands, now the quote had [redacted]'s company name on it, however the invoice, he made a partial payment to only had his personal information on it.  I can only assume this where the lines of communication broke down, however, I can't confirm that without contacting the firm.  Once aware of this problem, the situation was rectified and [redacted]'s personal credit report was corrected.  Now, After knowing [redacted], it comes to no surprise that he believes that this was meant to a personal attack against him, however, it was a miss communication between me and my collections firm, this is business not personal.  I have shown nothing but full disclosure on this matter, I have been more than willing to work with [redacted] on the overdue amount, however, I have not seen this in return from him.Now to address the issue of the tech cable again,  the shortest distance between two points is a straight line,  this is the root he took with the cable.  This route would cause the trench to be approx 30 to 40 feet longer then it needed to be.  Since it cost more to have trench dug, I choose to plan to run the cable along the house foundation first then go underground.  This would have meant a longer cable would be required, however, I was no longer onsite to do this.  I can't make it any more clear, [redacted] took the shortest route but most expensive trenching option.   I planned on taking the long way around and saving time on trenching.  Also, the price negotiation discount I originally offered him would of more than covered the leftover tech cable.  I even offered to remove this discount and discount him for the cable instead, in an email dated 2018-01-15 to which he didn't reply to.The range receptacle was on Wesco invoice [redacted] line 3, you can reference this to the copies of my invoices I already supplied you with.  It was in the same box as the mounting plates and 6 inch LED pot light I supplied that it clearly states in the quote I wasn't required to supply.  Except that was one of many changes you made on the fly that day. There were multiple changes made to the quoted price.  the quote stated that everything was included,  this only applies to the items that were discussed prior to the quote being created.  It's not a free for all to add or remove whatever you please.  I also did state that day the plugs were "Extra", it is not my fault if [redacted] assumed I was doing the work for free,  the name of my company is not Charity Electric.  If you placed an order a lumber yard and decided at the last moment to add more lumber, do you not expected to be charged for it? , since they are in the business of selling lumber.  I guess common sense is not so common.  The invoice I submitted represented the work completed and the materials that were provided.  [redacted] had no problem using my discount on wholesale materials to complete his project, rather than going to a retail outlet, where markup would have been considerably higher.  [redacted] also told me to just invoice him the materials that were provided, and the time I had on the job.  Due to the number of changes that were made to the job the cost changed with it as well, as it would with any construction project.  The changes still need to be factored into the invoice. Some of the changes are as follows but not limited to:1 TV Plug2 Fireplace Plug3 Exhaust fan Plug4 Expanding from 1 switch to control the lights to 2 switches.5 Changing the light scheme, which I helped to design, this took up my time.6 Relocation of dryer unit, more materials and time to run cable then initial location.7 Planning to cancel service and run tech cable and checks to see if house panel could allow this.8 You opted to upgrade from standard receptacles to Décor style, because of your future plans for a man cave.9 I returned the materials of the service and have billed you for the cost of tech cable and connectors, which is more than the cost of materials for the service.10 I also supplied 1- 6 inch pot light and 15 lighting mounting brackets that my quote clearly stated I wasn't required to supply. So based on the complaint, [redacted] has submitted to the Revdex.com, he is getting everything he was looking for in his desired settlement.  He is getting the correction to his personal credit report.  Also, I am not asking he be required to pay for something I didn't complete,  only what I have completed. So as far I can see this complaint has been answered.  The only problem is [redacted] doesn't believe he's required to pay for extra materials and services provided to him by my company.
