We are very upset to have receive this letterAs per to this matter it seems to be a very confusing
situation
*** had came into our shop Dec 12th, in need of a MVIShe mentioned she had tried other shops closer to her home but they did not have any appointments openWe are happy to take in walk in while other jobs are waiting for parts
We did a MVI and our technician came out to the office to go over everything that had failed
Since we knew it was a very long list it was hard at that time to give her a exact number on how much it would cost
We explained it could be between *** (no more/no less) *** asked if the vehicle was safe to drive since they had family in *** very illWe did not say that their vehicle is safe, Since its a MVI that failed we advised her not to drive it*** did not want a rejection sticker put on because that sticker would not have been legally to drive on(rejection stickers are from shop to home)
*** then booked a appointment to have the work done after Christmas because she could not afford it at the timeWhich we understood since it was so close to Christmas! We were not booked and had spot to get *** truck in if she had of been able to afford it
March 1st *** had called around to explain her complaintShe made it clear that we would either A-refund all of her money she ever spent there
B- Pay the shop the truck is currently at to be repaired
I explained to *** that I was in the middle of work and need some time to figure this situationShe then told me I had until 5pm to let her know what I was going to do or else she would start calling and filing complaints against me5pm came and I really still did not have time to think since I was busy at workSo I called her and said the only offer I have right now is to give you $*** to buy your truckShe asked if she could have time to think about that offerI said Sure and gave her my cell number if she wanted to let me know about the offer
I came home from work at *** texted me from a different number I was unsure of, asking me if that's the best I could doI had asked her to call me since I don't like texting
She asked if $*** is the best I could do, I then offered her $***She explained that she feels her truck is worth $*** and I said I couldn't give her $***
I then agreed to settle with her and refund her the money she spent on the MVI and advised her that I would have my lawyer draw up paper work to settle this legally
I then hung up from having a phone call with ***I thought that was the end for the evening and moved onto looking after my year old
I then received a text from *** (from an unknown number) who I believe was not *** and was *** *** explaining that I would be paying for her lawyer bill and to have a cheque ready for the amount of $***
I then explained I was not paying $*** but would pay the original invoice *** for $ ***since she was only complaining about that bill
*** I checked my phone to find many messages with very unsettling message and threatsI then received a voice mail stating she had everything recorded and she was going to go through with her threats if I did not call her by 8:15pm
The next day I called my lawyer and was advised to have no contact with her
I had offered her $ *** and $*** for her truck

To start if this was about money I would have taken the money at that time*** *** Both invoices had to be included in a refund as the second invoice was when they cut the trailer hitch the second time rendering it useless*** I never threatened ***...I told her I wanted a refund she wanted security *** *** *** I have lost the *** I paid them to fix my truck and now I am also out a truckI had to get help from my family to get a new vechile*** I basically gave johnson auto *** in return for a safe legal truck, I paid them but they didn't give me back a safe legal truckWhat *** refers to as threats were that I would make a complaint to the Revdex.com *** *** (***) *** *** *** *** ***
