Hello ***Regarding this situation with Ms*** and the disposition fee she is being charged by her Financial institutionWhen we take a vehicle off lease or conventional financing our policy is to contact the financial institution in which the customer owes moneyWe ask for a complete payoff to release the customer from the lease or loan. When that institution gives us that dollar amount, that is what we sendWe do not send any more or any less, as well as not include any more or any less to the customers next lease or loanIt is unfortunate that her institution did not give us the payoff including the disposition feeIf they had it would have been addressed. customer had any concerns with the vehicle and/or it's operation. It is my understanding that the replacement of 2 object detection modules may address the customer's concern with the radio. These components are not covered under NYS Lemon Law and would be the responsibilty of the customer if she would like to have them replaced. Since the customer did purchase the vehicle 2 months ago, we did offer to split the cost of the repair with her - 50/50.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. After purchasing vehicle I had to bring it back for problems with the front  roters and then bring it back again for the back rosters because those where not checked or replaced before I purchase the vehicle. So how was the vehicle inspected and checked for no problems and during those repairs I complained about the issue that was later found to be the sensors I feel I should not have to pay for half the repairs because this vehicle was not properly checked before or during me purchasing it and I complained about the problem that was later found to be a sensor  both times when bringing it back.Regards,  [redacted]

They didn’t advise of a disposition fee, the dealer told me the lease was paid off with toyota & I was all set. Later on when I spoke with the GM, she advised me that Toyota never told the dealer about the fee, only the pay off amount. I feel mislead  & would not have done the deal had...
