Business Response to a Complaint Complaint ID#: [redacted] Company Name: [redacted] Firestone Company Contact: [redacted] Company Phone: Company Email: Person Who Sent the Complaint: [redacted] Staff Member: Response: Customers car was towed into our shop ( [redacted] Firestone) not running or operating on arrivalUpon our pre-check inspection of vehicle it was found that it had been worked on with attempted repair by others, and there were several parts installed incorrectly, or not installed in its entirety in the engine component (motor mounts, belts, etc)After checkout was complete and our team reinstalled parts that had been disconnected and/or left incomplete by others it had come to our attention that the car was in need of more in depth repairWe had notified customer, and recommended that it be taken to a dealerAfter several hours of labor and time on vehicle we only charged customer $(One Hundred Dollars) which included first tow billing at a hourly tow rate of $40/hr, and our labor which is $75/hrWe had the vehicle in our possession for several weeks before the customer came to retrieve itThe car was towed from our vehicle storage area from an outside towing company by mistakeOnce it came to our attention, we notified the tow company immediately and they admitted it was an accident and situation would be rectifiedIn regards to accusations of our staff removing tools from customers car, I assure that no one in our team steals, or has stolen anythingWe believe given the circumstances that our charge of $(one hundred dollars) is being very fair, and will not offer refund to customer Sent on: 4/22/9:22:AM

Upon our pre-check inspection of vehicle it was found that it had been worked on with attempted repair by others, and there were several parts installed incorrectly, or not installed in its entirety in the engine component (motor mounts, belts, etc).
