[redacted] got an attitude with me when I asked him why he started the work before checking to make sure the estimate was going to cover the work that needed to be doneHe said "Well I could have been an [redacted] and just ordered the parts and fixed the car and then you wouldn't have had a choice but to pay the bill!" I told him not to charge my card a dime and that is when a male in the background decided to call me crazy! Then I ended that call and they proceeded to tell my brother that they put all of his parts in his piece of [redacted] car and pushed it into the streetThen I got a call from [redacted] (owner) at my job, not on my personal phone and he proceeded to call me several different names including, Stupid [redacted] crazy, ignorant and a few other choice namesWhen I called him out on how unprofessional he was being he continued with the name calling That is my personal experience and [redacted] will claim that I have never spent money there or gone to his shop and that is correct as I cancelled my credit card and only dealt with him and [redacted] over the phone

I've had quite a positive experience with Mike the Mechanic We've had several repair jobs performed here and have been satisfied with each (Exhaust system work, license plate light wiring, brakes)They don't simply tell you what is wrong, but explain it, offer to show you any damaged parts and explain what about the damage is causing the problem to the car They've also been very honest with us At one point we had an oil leak and took the car in When given a repair quote (for work that involved removing the transmission to fix the leak from a seal), I asked how bad the leak was They responded that it wasn't terribly serious, and that we would probably be fine without having it repaired for the time being After another mechanic said that the oil pan was cracked and would need to be replaced, this really earned our trust!

However, my experience at Mike the Mechanic Automotive Repair and Service was nothing less than excellent. The vibe here is so genuine, just at the employees are. I've referred all of my female friends here that ever have issues with their vehicle, and this is the only place I will ever go to in Tucson for any car troubles!

Let me just say, as a graphic designer myself, you can tell this company really cares about their presentation to the public, and this in itself says a lot about a company and just about people in general. If you go the extra route to present yourself to the utmost professional level, than it is safe to say that you are the type of individual that can be relied upon. Same goes for Mike the Mechanic. Their website is well done, and easy to navigate, their online prescence is strong and their printed mail-outs are crisp, clean, with great colors and very well formatted.
