To whom it concerns, Mr. [redacted]s brought in his 1995 Cadillac with low oil pressure and knocking and was informed that the engine was bad. He was told that the engine needed to be replaced, with a used engine, or rebuilt. He chose to have it rebuilt. He stated that he just purchased the vehicle and...

wanted to keep it original. He was informed that it would take about a month to repair and he said that time was not an issue as he had another  vehicle to drive. Once the repair was started it was learned that some of the parts needed to complete the repair were not available or obsolete. Mr. [redacted]s was informed of this fact and he still wanted the original engine rebuilt. He said to keep looking and he could wait. After extensive searching some parts were located except for the engine oil pump. The manufacturer of the pump, [redacted], was contacted. The company no longer carried, stocked, or manufactured this oil pump. Finally I was able to locate a company that could remanufacture the oil pump and so the pump was sent to them. This company had the pump for many months as some pieces for the pump had to be custum made by a different company. Mr. [redacted]s was informed of the issue of the oil pump. After many months the pump was returned and I could finish assembling the engine. Around the same time that Mr. [redacted]s made the complaint to your company he was informed that I was in the process of reassembling the engine and installing it in his vehicle. After he made his complaint for your company, his vehicle was completed. I have called his phone number several times and it is not answered. I have left a message that the repair was completed, but as of writing this letter he has not contacted me. During the course of this repair Mr. [redacted]s has been in and out of the hospital. I am presuming that this is where he currently is and that is why he can not be reached. Maybe you will have better luck contacting him and informing that his car is ready for pick up. Thank you
