They refused to give us the items value even though I had the original receipt (no refund was requested) and on exchange stamped reg.item final sale
I tried to contact Joe Fresh and this is my response to their email below
(My issue is we were given the low sale price when we had the original receipt, and then, when my mom chose a sweater to exchange the item with - it was full price but was stamped on the receipt that it was final and no returns or exchanges - why ?....)
Nowhere in their policy does it state that you do not get the price on the receipt but only the value at the time of refund or exchangeThis should be clearly stated, as most stores give you the price on the original receipt, UNLESS you do not have one - only then do you get the lower price at time of return or exchange
Also the new item we got on EXCHANGE(no refund as over days- which is fine, we knew that) was not on sale but full price and was stamped "final sale" etc on new receipt, which, according
