Please understand that I paid $for the tow diagnosis and repair of my Mitsubishi eclipse spider it's all starting on September the shop miss diagnosed the problem at least times they change the diagnosis you on October car was given back to me and said the problem was resolved after replacing praying and ignition interrupt however there were multiple issues that the mechanics who worked on the car had not put the car back together to my satisfaction so I brought the car back two times do you have the gearshift screwed down the dashboard glued on and finally on October that ignition repaired because it was not right at that time I left the shop and minutes later broke down a mile down the road from the shop as a fuse had blown and would not stop blowing when replaced at that time I thought a repair came and trailer at my car at which time they tore the bumper off ripped it in half and did a no damage to the bottom of my car they put the car in the shop and proceeded to tear the complete wiring harness out step-by-step every single day telling me that they thought it was a different problem was the diagnosis Changed at least times he claimed that the original problem was still the brain and ignition interrupt even though he put a in-line fuse between the fuse box and that brand because he had a fear that it would blow again this would tell me the diagnosis was wrong that it was not the brand of the brain was a symptom of the problem and that he was trying to cover up the fact that he didn't know the diagnosis says they have spent ridiculous amount of time trying to track down where they think some sort of short is in my wiring harness claiming they are not responsible when they certainly are the problem never existed before they tore my dash out now they're claiming they cannot fix the problem and would like to pull the motor from my car and put it in another car as they are unable to repair the problem I am asking for a refund of the $out of that I paid them I'm also asking for the value of replacing my car which if you look at comparable cars that are for sale in the area runs out between and $I am also asking for the cost of the ticket I received when driving his Toyota Avalon which was not legally registeredthis cost incurred by me for a grossly negligent registration on the vehicle he had assured me was registered should not be my responsibility that should be his if you feel you can help me with these things please let me know I would greatly appreciate it I have been without a vehicle for over three months I am also open to partial payment in cash and a replacement vehicle that I would agree upon since [redacted] obviously has multiple vehicles for sale on his property that actually belong to him if he made me a reasonable offer I would take it thank you I look forward to getting this resolved if we are unable to resolve it by this Avenue I will be pursuing small claims court [redacted] s why here

Please let me know if you have any suggestions on how we might resolve this disputethank you Sincerely, [redacted]

I prepaid ***$ for a new clutch in my truckI also asked for the brakes to be checked I was told that there was missing parts to the trucks brakes and there was leakage to the axle seals and was charged another ***$he then acted as if I was tring to scam him when asking if we could set up paymentsi came up with the money just to have the clutch go out the same day he dropped it off at my househe was notified twice because he denied he was notified the first timehad to tow the truck, back to his shop, being told he would fix only what was covered under the warrantyOnl y to be charged another **$ for the tow and a clutch part that I already paid forduring this time he did not communicate with me what exactley was fixed and why I would be paying him anymore money he told me to "quit [redacted] " and refused to tell me what work he did dohe then threatened to "take the parts out of the truck." this guy does not like being rejected, I have proof of all text messages but he is slick enough to not be in appropriate over documentation I then took the truck dierctley over to an honest mechanicwho informend me that it was evident that the clutch had not been replaced

*** called me and told me the motor in her Toyota pick up was blown upShe had stated that her vehicle was not running at allI was asked for a price on a new motor (*** had stated she could get an engine for just a couple hundred of dollars) I recommended we inspect her motor to as
cost to repairWe towed the truck to our shopWe removed the valve cover to inspect the motor- Timing chain tensioner was missing completely and the timing chain had jumped 1/turn (degrees) That was not letting the motor runI explained to her that the timing chain, tensioner kit and installation for this was far less expensive than buying a new motorShe was given a written estimate to replace timing chair, gears, tensioner and guides*** gave my service writer an ok to do these repairs for the amount of $I replaced timing chain, tensioners, gaskets and seals and at the point the motor started and ran as good as would be expected for mileage and age of the truckI noted the motor had an aftermarket non emissions approved carburetor (which is illegal) and also that someone had cut off wires to ignition module and spliced in a GM module- I have never seen this done beforeA few days later *** called screaming at me that her truck would not start and we didn't put the timing chain in correctlyMy reply was that I could take a look to see why (We cant do anything over the phone about it) I again towed the truck to the shop (after hours) We tested for spark- no sparkWe then tested the ignition module that was noticed before(OM module on Toyota pickup) The GM module did not produce a pulse to fire coilI installed the CORRECT module in place of the failed GM module- the truck ranI stopped at that point as I didn't have an ok from customer to do more than test (without installing module there was no way to verify if it would run or not) At that point the customer was called to let her know an ignition module did make it run*** came to the shop to pick up her truckShe stated she had not authorized that repairWe told her we could removed the module without any problem and put the old one back on (screws, minutes) and that could arrange towing to take it awayAt that time she asked if I could leave the module in the truck and let her pay fur it the upcoming FridayI said that this was ok and to please make sure to bring the payment(We DO NOT put anything on credit- as we did for her) She promised to be at the shop the next Friday which was May the 29th of Friday came and went and *** never once showed up or calledThe following week *** called yelling stating that her truck broke down in Vancouver miles awayShe wanted me to tow it to the shop and look at it I said I did not have a tow truck at the time and that she didn't not keep her word to pay the bill as she stated she wouldAt this point Itold her I no longer wanted to work with her and I recommended that she go elsewhere

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
Regards,
*** *** This is a case of them taking advantage of me!
*** is not telling the truthThree weeks went by and I had not heard anything about if my car was done yetSo I called the garage and asked if it was doneThat's when she told me about the price, I was shocked and it was a lot for that little year old carThat is way too much! So she told me right over the phone, that I could make paymentsThat's what I have to doIt still hurts me today! I have one phone and I have voice mail and caller Id and an answering machine to pick up calls, and not one call is registered from the garage at that timeAnd if that's the case, why didn't she use facebook to let me know that all of the exhaust needed replaced before they did the work? I don't know what she is talking about! *** did not mention I could pay halfI currently have made payments and I am currently making monthly paymentsI have the invoice to prove all the payments I have made, still makingThey charged me a lot for a year old little carCome on!They replaced parts without my knowledge, without my consentThis is wrong to me and upsets me that they can do thisEven if it is with the inspection program, please call me or use facebook to let me knowI feel since this was such an inconvenience, I think they should wait patiently until I can get all the payments made, which I am doing month to month

***s why here

DV Store and More is a contractor business, consisting of the owner, *** ***---construction builder, and *** ***, Plumber Together, they formed a contractor business and was spotted by my husband, *** ***, in the neighborhood who was working on someone else's property on
*** Drive where my husband has property with a double wide mobile home that needs work done on it My husband began talking with Mr*** about work that was needed and they both toured the property to discuss originating a contract to do the work My husband asked me to come tour the property with both of these men who discussed with me what they could do for the mobile home, and my husband was already sold to begin the work, so I reluctantly went along with the deal as I did not know these men, though I did ask for references I met a couple of people in the neighborhood and saw their homes, which looked nice, so all four of us signed a contract and paid up front (materials and labor), an amount of $7, It wasn't until after I had a personal friend of mine, a builder also, who told me and my husband we should have never paid them up front, and if at all, just purchased the materials and paid them after* they finished their work This friend also showed us the substandard work they did on the property, including the shabby deck with stairs that consisted of gaps in the wood which needed to be compacted together in order for people to walk on the deck, the lack of cement needed to support the posts that the deck stands on, several pieces of used, old wood that was used to build the deck and old, used wood that was not pressure treated, was used to go around the trim of the roofing Also, the builders never removed the old rotted wood on the siding of the home, they only placed new hardyboard siding on top of the rotted wood around the complete home These men also are not offering a warranty on the roofing of the mobile home, which my husband reluctantly accepts!!! This is when I contacted the Revdex.com My builder friend also suggested that I contact Revdex.com because of the work that is substandard, because it would be difficult to get insurance on a mobile home with this type of work done on the property that we were hoping to move into
RESULTS I WANT:
I desire for these men to; A) either give me the $7,dollars refunded back to me, or B) to upgrade the work they did on the home by replacing all old wood with new, pressure treated wood from deck and trim of roof, C) remove the rotted wood underneath the hardyboard siding of the home, and D) give me a 20-year warranty that there will be no leaks from the roof for that length of time or they will guarantee repairs on it

Here is our response for the case number referenced. Our customer *** *** did come to our shop to have her car inspected and it need some exhaust workShe brought us the old exhaust components to see if they where salvageable to do the job and they where notSo we had to install new
parts to comply with the Virginian Inspection programWhen we had the job completed Mrs*** was called and informed that the car was ready and how much the bill wasShe did bring it to our attention that the bill was more than she had anticipated but asked if should could make paymentsSo with the agreement that she would pay half down and make monthly payments there after she could take her carShe made the down payment and said she would be back take make a payment on the next paydayThe bill was made in June of and we had only received one payment in almost a yearI have tried to call *** several times threw out with no answerSo I messaged her on facebook just a few weeks prior to her complaint with you guysShe did respond saying should would pay her bill and said she had mailed us a check via bill pay in which we never receivedSo when I was communicating with her about the lost check she in the mean time sends you guys a complaint against usAfter I received the complaint made I messaged *** back and told her we needed to settle he account in full for the work done, since she had not made any payments to clear her account and had enough nerve to file a complaint against us on top of thatWe where nice enough to allow her to take her car under the agreement she would make payments and she breached that agreement by not paying anything at all, and so here we areThanks you for your time.*** *** @ Mikes Auto Repair

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/04/22) */
Mikes Auto Repair: I Did receive the letter of complaint about the NissanThe customers car did arrive overheating with the check engine light on, so I let the car cool down and I pulled out codes and found a random miss fireI recommended
a tune upNext thing I did was a coolant pressure test, and found a hole on the radiator hose; afterward I recommended a new hoseAt that time we kept the car overnightThe next morning I installed the new hose and added the coolant, at that time I noticed she had already did damage to her head gasket, caused by the over heatingthe reason for this is when you top off the coolant, the coolant will travel through the head gasket (which was damaged, upon arrival) and fill up the cylinder, this causes a miss fire, the reason this miss fire went undetected the first time was because the car arrived with no coolantSo before her arrival at the shop and before I pulled the codes, she already had the miss fire, therefore, the damage was done before it arrived at the shop
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/04/23) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
