As of today July 7,I have not received or accepted any merchandise from this companyPlease refer to the additional information I requested to have added to case which was sent via email on Friday July 3, [redacted] Revdex.com Case/Claim # XXXXXXXX July 1, To whom it may concern, I am composing this email so that it can be added to my claim file # XXXXXXXXSince my original complaint submission, I was contacted by Mikes Furniture on Wednesday July 1, The purpose of this call was to set up delivery for my entire order on Thursday, July 2, I believe the name of the person was [redacted] and his title was store manager When I spoke to this person, I specifically asked him if all my items were in stock .This person said they were and suggested a few delivery datesI chose Thursday, July 2, for a delivery date and was told to expect the delivery between 8-p.mI arranged to have someone sit at my house all day for this delivery On Thursday, July 2, at approximately a.mI received a call from a lady by the name of [redacted] She began the conversation by telling me that two of the stocked items I ordered had been discontinued (Dresser and mirror) and that they only had one chest remainingAt this point I was livid [redacted] went on to explain that I could come into the store and choose something else, but I would not be able to get a refund only a store credit I explained to [redacted] , I was already forced to choose another bed frame from a different manufacturer because I was told by them- the bed frame (Coaster [redacted] I originally ordered had been discontinuedI later discovered after doing some research on the internet that this bed frame had in fact not been discontinuedThe manufacturer still makes this item and the only reason Mike's Furniture told me it was discontinued was because [redacted] - my salesperson made an error and sold it to me at their cost around $The average price for this piece of furniture on the internet hovered around $ When I choose another bedframe, the young man that waited on me failed to give me back my original paperwork (which showed the discontinued item and cost) and also charged the balance of my order as a Debit to my bank card Now, I am not an unreasonable person and was willing to accept the delivery as long as the delivery was complete I asked [redacted] , why this information was being given to me on - THE DAY OF DELIVERY, and why wasn't this information revealed to me when the man that called me on Wednesday July 1, set up the delivery? The phone went silent and she had no response to my question As you can imagine, I was even more upset, told her I would not accept the order and she reiterated that I would not be able to get a refund only a store credit Later that day I received another call from the delivery driver letting me know he was minutes away with my deliveryI told him under no uncertain terms would I accept an incomplete delivery and to take it back to the store A few hours later, I received another call from - I believe his name was [redacted] attempting to intimidate me with lines such as: this was a special order, you can't get your money back, read the fine print on the back of my contract I told him I did not want the items, it was not my problem that they blundered this entire order from the beginning and to stick the items up.........., I'm sure you can guess the restI am sick and tired of being jerked around by this storeThey have screwed up at every turn and are now trying to force an incomplete order down my throatMixed matched items, items that show in stock on my invoice and all of a sudden no longer existI refuse to take any merchandise from this company The only resolution I would like is a full refund less $and applicable sales tax for a comforter I took with me on May 23, [redacted] Final Business Response / [redacted] (4000, 9, 2015/07/08) */ The coaster CBXXXXXX bedroom set is discontinuedIf another store has it available for around $500, it probably means they have a higher mark up and that the item is in their onsite storageMike's Furniture is no longer able to receive this series from Coaster because it is discontinuedYou are entitled to pick any other set in place of the CBXXXXXX bedroom set As stated in the policies on the invoice special order items cannot be returned or refunded because they are ordered upon special request per customerOnce an order is place it is shipped specifically for the customer who made the requestThe Coaster special order daybed and trundle cannot be returned to the manufactureAll the other items can be changed to anything else in the store Refunds can only be made within the first thirty days of purchase as stated in the store policies printed on the back of your invoice and posted around the store Let us know if there is anything else we can help you with

Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2015/10/08) */ The original set you picked out is a special order, meaning it would need to be shipped from the manufactureThis usually takes about two weeksOnce the order was paid off, a special order request would be place with the manufacture and the special order items would be shipped specifically for youYou can still get the original set you picked out, but we would have to wait for it to be shipped Any money place in a law-a-way becomes a store credit after thirty daysBecause you selected a less expensive set, the money you place toward the lay-a-way months before is now a store credit as stated in our store policiesNo refunds can be issued after thirty days

AGAIN, if Ms*** does not want to wait any longer for the mirror we can issue her a FULL REFUND.We are still waiting for the replacement mirror to come in, it is taking longer than the manufacture anticipated (something we have no control over). If the customer no longer would like to wait we can offer her a full refund. Otherwise we need to wait for the manufacture to deliver the new mirror

II paid for the mirror and I was told, I would get the mirror in weeks, which was fine A customer should never have to wait over a month for something they paid for, especially when using a credit card because the charges are different.

and the issue has not been resolvedThey are refusing to return my money even though I never took receipt of any furniture from their storeI was spoken to rudely and filed a complaint on their website and never received a response to that complaintIf they resolved the issue they failed to inform me of this

The mirror that Ms*** purchased is discontinued. We only have one mirror left and it is still hanging on display. When we realized that the mirror Ms*** chose was the last one, we informed Ms*** that we could refund her right away. Ms*** did not want the refund
and wanted the mirror off the wall We explained that we needed to wait for a replacement mirror to come in from the manufacture before we can remove the old mirror off the wall. When that happens we will provide the mirror that Ms*** purchasedRight now we are still waiting for the replacement mirror to come in, it is taking longer than the manufacture anticipated. If the customer no longer would like to wait we can offer her a full refund. Otherwise we need to wait for the manufacture to deliver the new mirror
