We understand the customer was frustrated with the schedule but we cannot control the weatherIf it is snowing it is logical that the services could not take place until the snow clearedWe do our best to reach out to our clients and the appointment reminders clearly state that they are only estimated appointment times and could be up to hours before or after the scheduled reminderWe always inform our clients if there are services that we feel are necessary in order to improve the lawn so if we suggested a power rake it was because there was thatch preventing adequate water from reaching the roots and could cause potential damage to the existing sodWe tell all the customers to water their lawns both before and after an aerationThat cannot take place a week later or the fertilizer will burn the grassIt was snowing and their sprinkler system was not up and running at the timeA month later we revived pictures via text with burn marks on the grassWe have not EVER called a customer a liarWe simply asked if they had watered it and they responded by saying that it snowed shortly afterIf that fertilizer was left on the grass unwatered it would burn in a very specific patternOur first response was that we would come out and take a lookWe were running late as they are outside of our usual service area but we did go by and we offered to overseed and add topsoil at no charge so we set that upThe customers husband asked us to power rake at that time as wellWe had recently sent an email out to all of our existing customers letting them know that we started a new policy requiring ALL customers to keep a cc on fileWhen I contacted her before her appointment to request the cc info for the dethatch she became aggressive with usI tried to explain that we were doing this at no charge even though it was not our fault that the lawn had not been wateredShe said she didn't care to "just fix it!" She was rude and aggressive and refused to offer a cc for the dethatch at which time we concluded she had no intention of paying us for that service We would have helped the customer but we cannot allow ourselves to be mistreated in that way so I wished her the best of luck and told her that we could not be of service to her in the future I am willing to refund the customer the cost of the aeration itself which is $but nothing more as we waived the original trip charge $because the service was over $

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 11, 2015/08/03) */
On June 12th I scheduled an appointment for *** *** to Rototill a garden at our rate of $per hourHer appointment was scheduled for June 18th*** rototilled 80% of the property before Ms*** requested that he have his machine
maintenanced and come backHe tried explaining to her that the machine was not a commercial machine and that's why we only charge $per hour vsother companies who charge $75-$an hour and that he would finish and only charge her a flat rate of $She would not allow him to complete the project so he left and asked me to set another appointment to come backI contacted her and explained that we could reschedule bt that it would be the same machine and sent her an invoice for the minutes that he workedShe immediately sent me texts stating "I don't want him backI am not paying for minutes since he did not do acceptable workI will split the difference and pay for half of this timeThat's allminutesBill me for minutes or take me court." It was apparent that she had no intention of paying usAnytime I send past due invoices they batch as a groupI send reminders dailyThe only forms of payment that we accept are credit cards via *** (which are subject to a service fee and cashWe advertise this very clearly and explain it to ALL customers...no exceptionsShe has posted numerous derogatory ads on *** about our company, hurting our reputation as well as contacting the Revdex.com when she got free work?

What a great company to do business with, very friendly staff, hard workers, always dependable serviceThey are professionals in there line of work, I love referring them to others who ask me who I use for such servicesI will be using them again this year! Happy Customer!
