After talking to the CCB board and having a certified Arborist go look at them, I was told they will come back. The reason there are gaps in the arborvitae is because the back side are dead due to a fence being there so lack of sunlight. The Cedars that were taken out had dwarfed the arborvitae.... Also there was banches growing through them that after removing them caused holes. I have been back and forth with this neighbor of the customer that we took the Cedars out of. I also have a copy from the certified Arborist stating that it would take 2 years not 3 to fill in. I have told him if they don't fill in in that time, we will replace them. But he doesn't want to do that because there is longer a fence there. But I have talked to my customer and a new fence will be going up shortly and he will have his privacy back.

I am rejecting this response because:I'm completely amazed at the fact that this company can look at photos and say there is no damageAs well as have a copy of the Estimate and continue to state that no where on the Third Party estimate did it recommend removalOnce again, attached is a Copy of the Estimate, where it clearly states "Remove the worst of the damaged ARBS Approx plants", "Grind out Stumps and roots to replant", Replant 6-7' Arborvitae" and "Tie up others" YES, it says, "The plants would survive, HOWEVER it would take a FEW Years to restore Privacy Screen".Why should I have to wait a few years, due to damage and negligence by a company, especially one that didn't have a license to do business in the State of Washington?Any company or person would know that with the size, type and location of trees being removed, that there would be damageIf there was no damage, than why was the 6' privacy fence along the property line, two feet away from my trees knocked down and replaced? How is this harassment or defamation of character? If anyone is defaming character, it is him doing so on his own accord, by not owning up to his mistakes
Sincerely,

I have talked to the CCB Board, so he can go ahead and file a complaint all he wantsNowhere on the third party Arborist's estimate did he recommend removalIt clearly states that they will come backI have a attorney and have spoken to him about pressing charges against this person for harassment and defamation of characterThis person is just wanting something for freeI have even talked to the attorney general inspector which said the arborvitae are fineSo we have a attorney general inspector, the CCB, and a Arborist stating that the arborvitae are fineAt this point, I will let my attorney handle him

I am rejecting this response because:The certified Arborist's recommendation was to remove, replace and tie up those that were salvageableThey mentioned that it would take a "FEW" years for them to restore Privacy Screen, which I'm not willing to wait for, nor should I be expected to, due to negligence by the ContractorThese Arborvitae are nearly years old and were well established as you can seeIt's already been near a year and they haven't improvedI have other pictures including one which shows a nearly 20'x 3" base branch which came down, struck and broke a concrete stone near my hot tubOther branches were laying through the arborvitae and there are pics of the broken limbs of the ArborvitaeAttached are the Max allowed photos(There are more) of the damage done to my ArborvitaeAs you can see, it's not as the Contractor is statingThe fence has been replaced and as you can obviously see there are far more gaps and missing branches than those of before.
Sincerely,
