Today I went into Mikes to purchase a new chainsawWhen I entered another man was being served by a male at the counter.\r\n\r\nVery quickly a lady appeared and asked me if she could assist meI told her I was looking for a chainsaw that was comparable to my old Poulan \r\n\r\nShe seemed a little agitated and told me she had never heard of that sawShe then asked me if I wanted a saw with a large chain or small chain\r\n\r\nAt that point I went blank and told her I did not know what she was asking meShe pointed to the man\'s saw that was on the counter and told me that his chain was a large chain\r\n\r\nThat was no help and she again seemed frustratedI felt that she had no clue about what she was doing and her attitude was not the best either so I politely told her I did not know what she was talking about and would look around else ware, excused myself, and turned and left\r\n\r\nThat was the first that I have ever heard of anyone trying to sell a saw by the chain size instead of the engine size\r\n\r\nI then went directly to Gates in Cleveland Texas and told the guy at the counter that I was looking for a saw that was comparable to my year old Poulan He asked the engine size, which was 335, and pointed me to a new Stihl MS saw which I purchasedHe was very informative in starting and using the sawI would not recommend Mikes but I highly recommend Gates.\r\n
