To whom it may concern,  I am very sorry that I was unable to connect with the customer.  I have been extremely busy and was unable to do the job.  I did however leave a message stating this.  Thank you. Walt J[redacted]

Last week I left my car at [redacted]'s Auto to see about a freon charge. I was concerned the leak was bad and hadn't heard from them in a few days. So I called at the end of and was told they tried to call but my mailbox was full, which it never is, and so they never called back. It was done, they said, and as they usually did, they came to pick me up to get the car. In my car we didn't turn on the AC for the drive back to the shop.I paid for the freon charge and took off, turned on the AC and nothing happened. I had chores to do and came back before going home to see if they wanted to take it back and just drive me home. But no. He was too busy for me, told me to come in on Monday at 10 and wait for him to look at it for about 1/2 hour. I came in on Monday at 10, today, and he was busy with another car. [redacted] was not friendly, told me I had to wait until he was done with what he was doing. I waited. When he was done he told his helper, who is not trained in AC, to hook up some testing wires. Then [redacted] came over, fiddled for a few moments, walked away to take a call. Then a big truck came in next to me and a big man stepped out looking for "[redacted]" complaining that another truck door put paint on his door while he was parked here. So instead of telling this man he had to wait while he continued to work on my car, with my appointment, he then spent 20 minutes wiping the paint off this person's truck door. I waited. Then I waited again, when another big truck came in, had some business to discuss, whatever. When he was done I stood up and asked why he didn't tell these people they had to wait, why was he making me wait. Basically [redacted] told me in so many words to shut up, sit down, be quiet, just wait, and he'll get to it or he's not going to work on my car. We went back and forth a little, as the compressor was working fine when I brought it in. I was angry and he said he's done with my car. I said I will send him a bill for the compressor and he said he won't pay it.My feeling is he didn't want to work on it. He had always been nice to me, but not today. Something must have happened when he did the freon charge and he knew it and was hoping it would work at least a day so I could come back and pay for a new compressor. But he wasn't that lucky, it was broken and he knew he was wasting his time testing it. But I was there, so he chose to lose the customer and I have a broken compressor. My feeling is he didn't wantDesired SettlementI need the compressor fixed or a new one put in. I would prefer to take it elsewhere and [redacted] should be responsible for paying for it.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] OwnerContact Phone: [redacted]WOW, That isn't anything like what happened, I happen to have an eye witness as to what happened the day this particular customer brought her car into my shop to be repaired.[redacted] did in fact have a ten am appointment on Monday May 19. She showed up a couple of minutes early and I told my technician that she was going to have to wait until I was done doing what I was doing. I cant just drop everything that I am doing every time a customer rolls in the front door.I had [redacted]( my technician) hook up the Air Conditioning gauges to the Honda in question. We discovered that the system was low on Freon.Knowing that we had just install Freon in the system last week I suspected that there was a leak in the system. We hooked up the vacuum pump to the AC system to put the system in a vacuum. The usually takes 15-20 minutes. While the machines where working on the Honda I was busy taking care of other customers. There is absolutely nothing that I can be doing to the car while the system is being pulled into a vacuum. After I finished working on another vehicle I went back to the Honda( at this time it was 10:35am. I was in the process of evaluating the vehicle and removing the low side service port Schrader valve when [redacted] gets out of her car and starts yelling at me and cussing at me for ignoring her and her car and for making her have to wait so long.Let me guess, She forgot to mention the part about her yelling and cussing at me and throwing herself around like a spoiled little five year old girl. Not a big surprise, I wouldn't tell anyone that I behaved like that either.I very politely told [redacted] that if she would settle down and stop yelling and cussing at me I would continue to work on her vehicle. At this point she basically threw herself on the ground next to my building. She sat there huffing and puffing for about two minutes, then she started right back in on the cussing and yelling. At this point I had had enough. I will not be talked to like that or treated like that. I very politely handed her the keys to her vehicle and told her that I was done. She could take her car to someone else and get it repaired. The only thing that I had to done to the AC system was to put Freon in it and replace a Schrader valve TWO years ago, Then last week she said it wasn't blowing cold so we looked at it and recharged the system and charged her $20.00. Yes that is correct $20.00.I am not responsible for any repairs on this vehicle, If [redacted] wants me to I will gladly refund her the $20.00. But before that happens she will apologize to me for her behavior when she was in my shop.Thank You[redacted]Owner: [redacted]s AutomotiveConsumer Response (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)[redacted] was very rude, right from when I showed up. I picked up that car on Friday morning and was told it was working that morning, that they had tested it that morning. Funny how it wasn't working that very same morning. [redacted] is a liar and I do not accept this.Final Business Response Good AfternoonI am not budging on my resolution. This lady is calling me a liar, I will bring in a witness the saw the entire ordeal. My original resolution stands. I will refund her the $20.00 but only if she apologizes to me in person.[redacted]

Honest, fair, friendly service. Mike diagnosed the problem quickly, explained it thoroughly, and didn't give a sales pitch or pressure a decision. I will be returning for all of my auto repairs in the future.
