What Mr. [redacted] didn't tell you was that the awning they built did...

not fit the intended application and they had to leave my home without installing it.  I got no apologies but they remeasured and I was told that the correct awning would be re-delivered in a few days.  Weeks later, I heard nothing from Mr. [redacted] and when I called Mr. [redacted] to ask for a refund I was put through to the voice mail of the man that originally came out to measure for the awning.  He did not answer so I left a message on his voice mail.  He never returned my call.  Nor did Mr. [redacted].  When I called back again to speak with Mr. [redacted], a female (probably Mr. [redacted]'s wife) interrupted me while I was trying to give her a message for Mr. [redacted] by leaving my name and address.  When I told her to please don't interrupt me while I was speaking, she kept trying to talk over me and eventually simply hung up the phone in my ear.  Poor business practice.  That is when I filed the Revdex.com complaint.  Yes, they refunded my money but only after I contacted the State Contractor's Board, the Revdex.com and wrote a complaint on [redacted].  I would not hire these people again to take out the trash.

Old, out of warranty motors can be fickle.  While they may work well under normal use, they receive more than normal torque, tension and movement when we have to replace the fabric.  There are many plastic parts and gears within the motor casing and sometimes those parts fail during fabric...

replacement.  So, it is not that we “broke the motor,” but rather, the motor happened to break while we were doing the fabric replacement.  With that said, we agree to supply and install the new motor for half the price. Someone from our office will call to arrange a scheduled time for the installation.  We apologize for any frustration or inconvenience we may have caused through this process. Thanks you,[redacted]Sun City Awning

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. I met with the business owner and am still awaiting additional information from him. Once I receive that, I believe we will be able to resolve the issue, but I do not want to close the complaint until it is fully resolved.
Regards,

Dear Ms. [redacted],Our claims department has thoroughly reviewed your claim and had determined that we do not have adequate proof that there were indeed missing items.  You signed the paperwork (attached) that acknowledges that everything that was removed from your origin residence was...

returned to your destination residence.  The claim was denied on July 19 via a letter (attached) that was mailed to you.  We are sorry you feel that items were missing but it simply cannot be substantiated.  Best regards,Ace Relocation Systems

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.  My hopeful resolution to this was that they compensate at least the depreciated value of the lost ite** in which they have offered for $350. I have decided to take a loss and settle for $350 since I am pretty much a helpless consumer that feel that this is the best I can get. My deepest gratitude in even getting $350(as they were not even going to compensate me until I contacted Revdex.com) is with Revdex.com and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I just hope Atlas in the future will let every single of their customer know that the customer will be liable for every single item/box that is being loaded on their truck and that they let them know this upfront loud and clear even it may slow down their moving process. Thank you Revdex.com for your help. I really appreciate the very existence of Revdex.com.

Mike's bike destroyed my rear sprocket and my belt because they couldn't put it all correctly he wanted to charge me again for his damage work but I didn't take it back because if he didn't do right the first time he was up and do it right the second time. He charge me 390 but he took 450 out of my checking account. Says it's for later cost that might show upCut my stair wires in four different places and said you have for cut wires there's no way you could have perfectly cut wires that are running in oil absolutely no way. [redacted] speaks with a fork tongue and just look for your wallet not your bike. I am out $800 for parts

Hello,We apologize for the tardy response to this claim.  This has been resolved with **. [redacted] and a goodwill gesture of $350 was offered and accepted on 2/21.  In our industry, we need to rely on the paperwork when working through clai** settlements and unfortunately for both parties...

there was not a mutual agreement on what that detailed in this instance.  Our, and Atlas' hope is that the goodwill gesture was a solution that worked for both parties. Thank you
